Great value safe, clean convenientPosted Aug 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was much better then I had expected based on the reviews. I did not select the hotel I was working with a group of people and they selected the hotel on price. I found the rooms clean comfortable. The area safe with plenty of places to eat close by. The street is busy and the street noise was a bit loud until about 11:00. The breakfast in the hotel was great. I would select this room again.

Old Hotel Needs New ManagementPosted Jun 7, 2013
Pros: Only the proximity to my relatives has made me stay in the hotel so many times
Cons: The lack of air conditioning in the new tower
Location: Location is not far from the World Trade Center and near a Sports Arena, but I don't really care about that.
Even though in the past I have given this hotel a moderate review, I think it's high time that I speak out. This is a very poorly managed hotel. It appears that Sevilla Group is not too interested in how the hotel is run. 1 out of a 2 elevator bank hasn't been working for years now. A nice new tower was built attached to the old building, but it was open to guests sooner than it should have been. The heating and air conditioning is still not connected. Our recent stay, was murder in an 87/90 degree heat with no air conditioning and only a little crack in the window could be opened in a westerly facing ceiling to floor window.. Housekeeping doesn't know to pull down the room darkening shade to keep the sun out of the room in the afternoons so it's an oven when you go bakt to your room making it impossible to sleep. We've only been back to this hotel because of it's location near some relatives, otherwise we would have chucked it a long time ago. It gives the impression that management doesn't care if people come back to the hotel or not. Next time Iwe plan to use a different hotel for sure!

Good option in the southPosted Jun 5, 2013
Good but the price is a little bit high for what you get, nice location around south of the city

Location is 3 long blocks to subway at Insurgentes Sur Station. The hotel is located in Southwest Mexico City, not close to the central tourist area of Zocalo. It is older, elevator very small but there are some nice new rooms. walls are thin and some cigarette smoke came in thru bathroom vent. Housecleaning is excellent but room service very slow. Very little English spoken, no english language TV. overall ok if you are looking for good price

Pros: Space in the room
Too much noise outside the room in the service stairs and also need another lift, current one too slow!

Inexpensive but rooms are not soundproof.Posted Apr 6, 2013
Pros: One of the best things about the hotel is it's prime location.
Cons: The worst things about the hotel is it's constant loud noises coming from the halls and elevator shaft.
Location: On Insurgentes across from parque Hundido. Close to restaurants and bars.
Decent value for your money, but the air conditioner is incredibly loud and doesn't allow you to watch tv or sleep with it on. My bathroom is clean and roomy but also near the elevator, water pipes and stairs. Which made it very loud from machinery and people walking to their room. The front door is not sound proof either which allowed me to overhear people's whispered conversations down the hall. Good times.

Pretty decent hotelPosted Feb 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
For the price all I expected and needed. Room was very good size and hotels location was good. Plenty if bars, restaurants, banks around and meters away from the Liverpool mall.

Good Option HotelPosted Nov 17, 2012 on Hotels.com
Well the hotel is on going renovations. And yes the last implement is the carpeting. once you are past that the hotel is ok and will be great once reno is complete. Hopefully by then the staff will be more organized. The hotel has tons of potential. Hopefully the price will stay near current rates. Recommended.
