“Good Price-Benefits”

The shower door is very small. The carpets need a deep clean. Too much doors difficult the access to the clossets.

“if you're gay and/or like to party this place is for you!”

the hotel is in the middle of zona rosa,which is the center of the gay area, it comes wth a nicely appointed bedroom and a very nice ajoining suite thats perfect for bringing guest up for a drink. there is a walking mall next to the hotel, which has plenty of places to eat and drink, but also has live music, and the party goes on all night. so if youre looking for a quite place to stay this isn't it. try the eurostar reforma, its nice and modern and only 5 blocks from the zona rosa, an easy walk and on a very quite street, it's very modern and clean, great bathrooms. i loved it!!!

“good location”

The location of the hotel is a good starting point to get around the vast areas of Mexico City. The subway stop is very close by and the subway system is so easy to navigate-although taxis are cheap, you always end up being stuck in traffic so the subway is the best way to get around. Rooms at the hotel are a good size and the staff is helpful--especially Jeronimo who is a bell clerk. Rooms are somewhat dark and a little outdated but seem to be a good value for the price. Things are a little more expensive in the Zona Rosa but the area seemed very safe and lots of places for eating, etc. Mexico City is getting a bad rap; We never felt unsafe no matter where we were-even in areas where we were told to be careful. People are missing out on a fascinating city!

Area recommendations

The zocolo is a wonderful area to see--there is good shopping around the small streets surronding the cathedral. In fact there are so many markets everwhere you go although Zona Rosa and Roma tend to be more expensive. The Basilica area is not be missed and the Plaza Garibaldi seemed very safe although it doesn't really get rolling until after 10:00 p.m. We felt the well-known restaurants didn't live up to the hype and found the best food in little restaurants that you saw were crowded with the locals. No problem at all with taxis--we hailed many on the street!

“Great location, decent accomodation”

A decent hotel - it is clean with a courteous and helpful staff. loved the location - walking distance from the metro station and the turi bus stop. A safe in the cupboard, drinking water and free wifi are added benefits. The breakfast is wholesome, especially useful if one has a day of sightseeing ahead. We had asked for a city view on a high floor. All we saw were roofs of buildings and really thats the best you can see in the neighbourhood. Weekend nights in Zona Rosa can be quite noisy with the partying so if you are a light sleeping, keep in mind that you may be subject to music and noises into the night. I would come back here if my purpose was to see Mexico city and I want to stay in a comfortable and clean hotel.

“Good place to stay in Mexico City”

Hotel is in pretty good area. There are some restaurants right there. Good bars/clubs are couple miles away but since taxi is not too expensive I would suggest to do get there that way. Hotel staff was very helpful and recommended some very good ways to see Mexico City.
