Old Hotel at Modern High Rates!

Posted Nov 9, 2014
The hotel is in an area where there is nothing to do. It has no shops or outside the hotel entertainme which may be at walking distance. The air conditioners in the rooms are pathetic! The pillows they have should of been discarded a long time ago. The programming and cable TV availalable is the worst. I would stay here if only necessary! I would not recommend this hotel!!

Very nice, clean and modern hotel

Posted Nov 4, 2014
Cons: Room rates are rather expensive, and not participating in Expedia special offers
I had to fly to Las Vegas in early afternoon and as I live in Cuernavaca, about one hour and a half drive from Mexico city's airport, I decided to stay one night in Hilton hotel inside terminal 1 at airport, to avoid risking missing my flight. Everything was excellent : room amenities, very polite and accommodating staff, very delicious open buffet breakfast with a huge variety of fresh Mexican and international food, in very reasonable hours. In general, everything is just perfect. The only inconvenience that room rate is rather expensive without any discount nor any special offers through Expedia

Conveniently located near door 8 Terminal 1 Mexico

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: housekeeping and smell from bathroom area
Location: catch your next flight
Got in to hotel room about 1 am. There were no water bottles so had to head out to find some. The maintenance fellow I found was very helpful and polite. The sink plug did not work - water slow leaving and unable to block to fill up sink, plus there was a sewer smell emanating from the bathroom area. The room looked old, but the bed was comfortable.

Short But Sweet

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Accessibility from the airport
Cons: Water could be hotter in the shower.
We arrived very late at the airport, and had an early morning flight out. The Hilton was very convenient, being accessible directly from the airport. The staff was very efficient in getting us checked in, the room was clean and quiet, and provided a very good option for a quick few hours' sleep.

Good and convenient hotel for a night.

Posted Sep 18, 2014
Pros: The food is good, speacially the breakfast buffet very good and all the staff are very kind and helpful.
Cons: The rooms are good just a little bit noisy for me, because of the air condition. You have to pay extra money if you want to watch a movie on the tv.
Location: We didnĀ“t have the opportunity to do anything else. We were in transit to go to another city.
The rooms are confortable, and the staff is very helful and kind. a little bit expensive for the kind of service in room, we have to request a bottle of drinking water but it is very convenient because is just some meters from the international arrivals.

So convenient when travelling and need overnight

Posted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: Convenience to terminal 1
Cons: Staff in restaurant should be trained in customer service, told to smile, and look as though they are happy to be at work serving people.
Location: Only close to airport
The hotel is clean comfortable and super convenient. The restaurant is a waste of time with rude staff and no idea of customer service. The first night we arrived late and 7 of us tried to have dinner. After we finally placed drink orders and they had not arrived 40 minutes later with no one else in restaurant, we decided to leave.

Pros: Free wifi. Shuttle to terminal 1.
Cons: Cleanliness of rooms and bathrooms! Clean sheets and towels would be a good start!
Location: In terminal 1 which is an absolutely awful terminal of Mexico City airport.
Absolutely disgusting hotel. They didn't even have clean sheets on the bed for me for my one night stay which cost a fortune after all their hidden fees! At nearly US$200 a night, one would expect not to have small black hairs ALL OVER your sheets inside your bed!! Highly unacceptable, save your money and go elsewhere, not worth it!!!

Sewer Stink problem and rooms with no window

Posted Aug 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
If you can get over the terrible sewer stink problem which apparently is all over terminal one, and can live in a hotel room that may not have a window, this is a typical well serviced/maintained Hilton establishment. We were told that the sewer stink is not because of Hilton, because there is an unresolved issue in Terminal One. But, the other issue of no window is something that the hotel should have advised about before we booked our room or/and during check in. But they did not, and when we asked later to move, they advised that there were no more rooms available to change. Not all the rooms in the hotel are windowless.
