“Great location, convenient and great staff.”
Mexico City is a beautiful and historical city. Everything is within walking distance. We felt safe and the people were very nice and helpful. We visited every place in the city from Zocalo to Girabaldi (even ate with the locals while being seranaded by the mariachi), the Xochimilco excursion was an eye opening and the amazing anthropolgy museum was such a beauty and interesting to see. The real history is inside the palacio national. It's worth seeing the palace in Chapultepec and walking the famous Reforma. Teotihuacan is a must see. Climbing the pyramids and sipping the famous "pulque" was the highlight of our trip. Don't forget to bring home a bottle of tequila. You won't be disappointed!!!
“Excellent location but poor service”
Hotel is within walking distance to The Zocalo across the street from Alameda Central Park and Bella Artes. The metro train is also only a block away and the Bella Artes museum is right across. There's a couple of 7-eleven's and overwhelming number of restaurants right next door (including Starbucks). Great street acts/performers on the walk down from the hotel to the Zocalo and a lot of really old and interesting buildings in the vicinity. The hotel also appears to be upto the usual Hilton standards but I had a mediocre experience. The room service people took away the glass and coffee cups from the room on the second day. Why??? People need those to take medications! They didn't get replaced even after 3 calls to the front desk. And I found what appeared to be dried (and attempted to be washed) blood stains in the sheet set (not on last layer sheet itself but in the comforter). The staff is warm and friendly and they have wired/wireless internet (not free) in the room.
“Really enjoyed my stay”
Everything was great! only comment is that they closed the street (Ave. Juarez) that day and since I was driving using a rental, GPS and all, and it took me at least an extra hour to get there and no one at the hotel could give me alternate directions to get there. They should be prepared for these things and let you know so one can be prepared.
“very confortable”
nice,, elegant. a lot convenient features
“Hilton-reforma Mexico City”
I was treated very well by very concientious staff.
“Mexico City Hilton Reforma - wonderful!”
After 20 years of not going to Mexico City (I often visit Guadalajara), my husband and I had to go last weekend to attend a wedding We were really not looking forward to it, but were so glad we went! The city's cleanliness has improved tremendously, we felt safe and secure with all of the law enforcement we saw throughout the city and the friendliness of the policement at all times was impressive! The Hilton Reforma exceeded our expectations, and the two hotel restaurants we visited (The Don Restaurant for the breakfast brunch and El Cardenal restaurant for authentic Mexican cuisine)were amazing in quality, service, taste and price. We highly recommend this hotel, also for its proximity to the historical center of Mexico City.
“I shall return....”
After considering the W Mexico City and the Camino Real in Polanco, we are very pleased with our decision to stay at the Hilton MC Reforma. The food at El Cardinal was excellent -as was the room service breakfast. The hotel staff was very polite and helpful. The room was spacious and the king size bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. In fact, I want to buy the pillows for my NYC apt. The location is great -getting to Polanco, Zona Rosa, and Lomas was a breeze. Also, for a hotel not located in Las Vegas, the gym was one of the best I've ever seen. Spin Class, Free weights -including both an incline and flat bench, Smith Machine -everything.
“Not a 4 star hotel”
This hotel is not a four star hotel. Here's a list of reasons why we are not staying in this hotel again: 1. Carpet was dirty. We had to cover stain with a towel. It looked like a vomit stain. 2. The refrigerator didn't work. 3. Reception desk workers were apathetic to our needs. 4. The hotel manager was nowhere to be found when we complained about the carpet stains and the refrigerator.
“Great stay in Mexico City”
The front desk personnel were very nice and helpful. The hotel is centric the hotel food was great.
“Mexico City — An Amazing Vacation Destination”
It's important to remember that not everything reported by the media is true — Mexico City remains an incredible destination for both business and leisure travelers, despite the violence reported in the Republic's northern-most states.
