It is an old building and it might need some remodeling, breakfast was good but i will suggest they could indicate what is spicy and what is not because most mexican food is spicy, i like the location just a few blocks from the subway station allende and Zocalo, the staff was friendly and able to help!

"I loved the hotel but not the staff"
This is the old hotel with old charm and beautiful architecture. Rooms are big and well maintained. With staff you have a constant feeling that they are trying to take you for everything you got. Do not a accept any offers of help it will cost you triple. It's ok to make money but its not OK to take advantage of anyone.

"Great location in the downtown area"
In the bathroom area, there is a faucet with filtered water for drinking. The light switches were 2 way with one set at the door and the other in the headboard so you don't have to get up to turn out the lights. There is no individual air conditioner in the room, but the room is air conditioned and there is a fan to help keep you cool.

"Good price - quality rate"
We were all surprized to see such a low rate for a decent hotel as Stanza. Expect a clean, comfourtable bed, clean bathroom, and regular (not perfect) Wifi.

"All staff kind and helpful. "
All staff are kind and helpful. Located in at the old Mexico City. Close to a Metro station, easy to go other area. The atmosphere, in side the hotel including the room, appears to maintain traditional Buildings of Mexico; .I like it. At night, when any festival is held, it is rather noisy; although you can see it at the restraunt at top floor. .
