A good hotel for those who have business in the DF

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Convenience, helpfulness
Cons: food
Location: Located centrally in the Distrito Federal and the Zona Rosa many of the city's attractions are accessible .
This is not a luxury hotel but a comfortable, affordable place for those who have business in the DF. Quite clean, friendly and accessible the staff was pleasant and accomodating. Restaurant service was friendly but slow, and I've had better food. However, I would certainly stay there again for business purposes and enjoyed the friendliness of the staff.

Very cool little hotel in a great part of the city. Lots of walking areas in the neighborhood for shopping and eating and whatnot, also within walking distance of the US Embassy. Pretty great place to stay.

only issues were a motor running all night and the same problem with not very comfortable mattress but for the price all can be over looked. The location and staff are excellent.

Great location

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: Location and price
Cons: if the safe boxes in the rooms don't work then why have them.
Very safe, clean and staff was nice. Price was good too. I enjoyed the diversity of eating places around and the proximity to the subway. The Zona Rosa neighborhood where this hotel is located is sort of a NYC Soho with many artist galleries and eclectic shops and tree covered streets. Its also located halfway between Chapultepec and the Zocalo. Its not a big hotel so you get to know the staff. Right on the corner is a great street taco place that is opened 24X7. Five tacos and a soda was $3. This is where I socialized with the locals and where I got all my food.

Nice hotel but area too noisy and bathroom were a bit unconfortable. There wasn't enough space in toilet to fit legs!

Good location/good price

The hotel is not fancy, it is clean comes with a buffet breakfast. There is always a taxi available. The staff were very helpful. The hotel did not have air conditioning, so we had to keep the window open and it is noisy at night due to the club activity. There was a fan in the room and that helped. This is NOT a fancy hotel, it is clean and affordable.

Cheap hotel with Breakfast.. but...

Posted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: Location, Cheap, Breakfast included, Room is clean.
Cons: Restroom Toilet
It was nice.. room is clean, Staff are nice, good location and cheap.. included breakfast. - 2 things that I don't like for this Hotel. 1st No A/C - Mexico City weather condition is very good.. technically You don't need A/C.. but... 2nd Bethroom - Toilet water pressure is really bad.. if you are very sensetive.. then better pick other hotel.. and no Bethtub

One more time a satisfied customer

Posted May 28, 2014
Pros: The staff is very friendly. Rooms have a nice comfy bed, spacious bathrooms and free two bottles of water.
Cons: The room needs A/C but the rooms have a big fan that works perfectly.
Location: The hotel is only two blocks from Zona Rosa, five minute walk from the Metro Station and there are food stands around that serve food all night long.
This is the third time I stayed at Hotel Del Principado and I had a very nice experience again. I like this hotel because it is near by zona rosa, the metro station and is surrounded by food stands all night long.
