Can the hotel be moved?Posted Nov 28, 2013
I cannot praise Las Alcobas enough. Wonderful facilities, a very helpful and friendly staff, immaculate and well-designed rooms (although my mattress has developed an uncomfortable degree of sag) -- what else can a traveler ask for? I only regret that I chose to stay in Polanco. Too far from the metro, an expensive taxi ride awaits you on every journey out -- and the local trendy nonsense bores me to death. But that's not the hotel's fault.

Perfect boutique hotel in fancy area of townPosted Nov 26, 2013
Pros: Everything, but in particular the room
Cons: Can't think of anything important
Location: Polanco offers best shopping, excellent restaurants and bars, nice walks, proximity to parks and museums in Northern area of the city
To be short, Perfect! Starting with the front desk, service was the friendliest and most efficient I have experienced in decades. The room was very comfortable (best bed ever), with all amenities. No view, but we did not care about that. All our requests, of any sort, were met promptly and efficiently. My wife had a great massage at a reasonable price. Breakfast was good. Two adjoining restaurants are among the best in Mexico City Location, in fancy Polanco, could not be better. Strongly recommended, in particular if you want to avoid the crowded tourist areas and/or big hotels.

Fantastic hotel in a prime location.Posted Sep 15, 2013
A fabulous hotel in Polanco district. Staff were very courteous and could not do enough for you. We visited both restaurants beside the hotel Dulce Patria and Antola. Both had amazing menus and food that excelled our expectations. Thank you to all the staff for making our first visit to Mexico City so memorable.

Perfect hotel in the hearth of PolancoPosted Sep 2, 2013
Pros: Superb quality of in room facilities
Location: Location is great. The hotel is located in the most fancy street of Mexico City. There are many places nearby such as great restaurants, bars and stor
We booked this hotel for a short stay in Mexico (3 nights). Service was great. We received an upgrade on arrival into a charming room. Although this zone in Polanco is full of nightlife, the facilities are very quiet and insulated. There are so many restaurants around that although the breakfast was included we just couldn't take a try with so many choices around.

nice spot in Mexico CityPosted Aug 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a nice hotel in a great neighborhood. I requested two queens but had to move rooms on the second night and thought that the hotel handled this decently. The bathroom is a highlight!

An excellent choice in Polanco, Mexico City.Posted Aug 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. everything was first rate with perhaps the most important being the attention to detail and friendliness of the staff. The restaurant is excellent.
