Hotel Boutique Ciudad de México

Posted Jun 14, 2015

Forget staying at 4 Seasons Stay at Las Alcobas

Posted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: The best coffee in all of Mexico. Breakfast is incredible.
Cons: The rooms are so automated that its difficult to figure out how to use the t.v.!
Location: Location is amazing!
Bottom line is Las Alcoboas is one of the classiest hotels in Mex D.F. conveniently located in Polanco. My business associates were staying at The Four Seasons and while pleased with some of the amenities of a larger hotel were extremely disappointed in the physical plant. True, the rooms at L.A. are not large but they are well-appointed and fully automated, including a state of the art Toto toilet the cleans and dries your derriere (crazy, no?).

Museums everywhere, and beautiful parks

Posted Feb 3, 2015 on Hotels
Beautiful neighborhood. First class shops and mall - but the same ol' same ol' international luxury type shops so better for anthropological sightseeing than good shopping. The museums within walking distance can't be beat. National History, Anthropology, Soumaya, Jumex, Modern Art, Tamayo and more we probably don't even know about. Chapultepec Park is excellent for a stroll or run, and the other green spaces are beautiful. The only complaint is that the hotel fitness room is small, limited equipment, windowless and isn't open until 9AM.

Best location in Mexico City!

Smack bang in the middle of Polanco, really fantastic dining in-house with other options close by. Love the bathrooms - monsoon showers, Toto toilets and some really unique marble Hotel staff speak perfect English and very willing to help out.

This boutique in the heart of Polanco offers warm, personal service in a beautifully designed environment. The location was perfect for seeing the major Western sites and the restaurants and boutiques of vibrant Polanco. The Continental breakfast was fresh and ample and the mini-bar always generously stocked with free snacks, juice, and soft drinks.
