The property is located in a great location, but you pay a lot just for that. The stuff and service are great but the room is honestly not that nice. It has only one window that faces a wall. In my opinion, a bit depressing. The hotel is not big deal at all. So if the only thing you really care about is location and you’re willing to pay much more than all the other boutique hotels in Polanco, then this is the place for you.

The staff are wonderful! The location is superb, the food is excellent. Only complaint is the doors are not soundproof so we kept hearing the neighboring guests opening and closing doors at all hours.

This hotel is a real find. All is at the highest level. I originally booked for 4 days but ended up staying for 3 weeks. The location is just great, the staff is very attentive, efficient, sincere and friendly. Any request or wish is not ignored. The stay looks like you are the main guest in the hotel.

I was sick during much of my stay and the staff went above and beyond for my comfort level including offering to call doctors and picking up medicine. I’ve stayed in many luxury resorts but this one as the best for the service. Will definitely stay again!

The staff is beyond exceptional. I am delighted to know that a hotel like this still exists. The building is beautiful and designed well. Location is the very best in Mexico City for shopping and dining. What a truly unique and wonderful luxury hotel! One of the best places I have stayed world-wide.

Understated Luxury and High-End Design
The hotel is in a beautiful, wooded neighborhood with lovely stores and great restaurants. The room was deceptively simple in design but exquisite in execution with flavors of Aztec and Spanish design elements. It felt like staying in a luxury Mexican villa.

Amazing hotel in a great location
Perfect location. Close to tons of restaurants and shopping. The concierge was very helpful and even helped us get tickets to the opera at the last minute. I would definitely stay here again.

The problem with this hotel is that they are not consistent with their regulations. I booked two separate stays and asked if I could leave part of my luggage behind during the 5 days I would be away. They initially agreed. When the time came to check out and just as I had to run to catch my plane, they inform me that it is against their regulation to store my luggage. They left me hanging just like that. Offered no solution. Fortunately I found another hotel around the corner where I was able to book my next stay and they were happy to store my luggage. Needless to stay I canceled my next stay at Las Alcobas and do not plan to stay there again and expose myself to their unprofessional inconsistency.

youre not allowed to use the bathtub with the jets outside of the hours of 9AM-9PM. if you want to take a bath after 9PM- you have to call the front desk so they can send someone to your room to turn it on....

What a fabulous hotel. The location was perfect. The staff were incredibly helpful. The bed was super comfortable. We looked forward to the delicious Mexican breakfast every morning (our breakfast was included with our rate). We look forward to coming back in the future.

Las Alcobas is a lovely small hotel with excellent staff and beautifully appointed rooms. Thoughtful small extras like good soaps, choice of newspaper, turn-down service, excellent hangars and doors opening to a full-length three-way mirror create a luxury experience at a moderate cost. Very good full breakfast in the pleasant dining room. Selection of restaurants very close by. Highly recommended.
