Good hotel for Mexico City

Posted Jun 6, 2014
Pros: Different, relaxed environment in a busy city
Cons: Restaurant evening meal. Directions for taxis. More natural light in rooms(probably impossible to achieve)
Location: Location is good.
Overall it was good. Compared to the website I was disappointed, especially with the room which was quite dark. WiFi access is a real strength, the breakfast was very good but an evening meal was not good at all but it may have been a bad menu choice on my part.taxi drivers battle to find the place- from the airport the taxi driver got very lost and drove up and down surrounding roads for 30 minutes before stumbling across it by chance.

Trendy hotel in upscale area

Posted May 28, 2014
Pros: Overall design and location
Cons: Communication with reception staff was sometimes difficult as they were not all proficient in English though I understand the managerial dilemma.
Location: Bars and restaurants along President Masaryk are worth the detour. Jules Basement was my personal favorite on Julio Verne
Las Suites boasts a very modern feel from the lobby to the rooms which I've found to be tastefully designed. It makes for a great (quiet) getaway from the bigger hotel franchises in the area (Intercontinental, Marriott, W etc...).

Great location to Polanco activities

Posted May 22, 2014
Hotel is great if you want to stay and visit the attractions in Polanco. Very safe and clean area of the city and within walking distance of great restaurants and shops.

Location is not good for travelers

Posted May 6, 2014
Pros: Cleaniness
Cons: It will be good if they change the bath room, not convenient.
Location: Located in remore area and close to the main road (Makes noise at night)
Hotel staff and room was good. But the location is in remore area, so it will be incovenience for travelers.

Modern & Nice.

Posted Feb 3, 2014
Pros: Loved the beds & suite style. Business oriented. No bar or alcohol Good breakfast but end too early
Cons: Overall lighting in room & especially in bathroom. Missing hair blower Refill of coffee capsules in the room
Location: Even thought it is close to restaurants & shopping, location is not great. Noisy due to the "periferico" and hard to find.
Spacious & comfortable rooms Security is great for new visitors to Mexico, but a bit annoying after a while. You have to mention your room number every time you get in or out of the hotel. Taxis are available at the hotel, but charge too much. When you ask reception to call you a "radio taxi" they simply refuse.

Large rooms, Good Location but...

Posted Jan 29, 2014
Pros: The rooms are large and nice.
Cons: The internet definitely does not suit anybody that needs it to work.
Location: Polanco is full of nice restaurants and shops.
The rooms are nice, good size and well equiped, much better than the usual hotel room. The location is good although by car very restricted because there only one way to arrive, by Periferico Ave, always full. Better come walking by Polanco a few blocks. If you need internet to work, skype with your team just forget it. I stayed a week and could use well only one day, the other the net would come and go all the time, useless to complain. The service is slow but ok, lack of details, like serve the dinner with the coke not iced or with ice. In my opinion there are better options in the regions for the same price.

Nice hotel for vacationers.

Posted Jan 7, 2014
Pros: Suites are large and adequately furnished. Free breakfast and free internet. Though the internet is very very slow in the rooms.
Cons: Faster internet and friendlier reception.
Location: located at the edge of busy Polanco district with easy walk to shops and restaurants. Reading comments about noise in tower 2 I made reserv in tower 1
Reserved a suite with two beds through Expedia then called the hotel directly the night before my arrival for reconfirmation. Upon arrival, the only person at the reception told me that they have no rooms in the hotel with two beds. After I showed him the confirmation sent to me by Expedia and told him that I had called and you confirmed the reservation, he told me that they have no record of my call and added that he was the person in attendance at the time I called and does not recall my call. As a result, he agreed to upgrade my suite to a larger one with extra charge of $25/day to add a rollaway bed. I had to accept this resolution as I had paid for 9 days stay and the amount paid is nonrefundable. Though, after I checked into my room, the attendant called me and said they will wave the extra charges for the whole period of my stay. All has ended well.

Good pied-a-terre for a business trip

Posted Jan 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
Small spa and gym great for a refresh. Clean, spacious rooms - nice concept for a hotel. Only downside is quality of breakfast and food options, also they don't currently serve alcohol on the premises.
