Mi experiencia

Posted Jan 27, 2015

Good location and clean. Beware of extra charges.

Pros: Clean, adequately sized rooms. Security seemed good. Gym was nice.
Location: Walking distance to Condesa and Roma neighborhoods, as well as the Chapultepec park (el castillo, modern art museum, anthropologic museum).
Stayed for 5 days for vacation, with my family (parents, no kids). The hotel seemed more oriented to business people. Overall a good stay, but a few things to be aware of... Pros: Clean, adequately sized rooms. Security seemed good. Gym was nice. Cons: The concierge was helpful, but recommended hotel restaurants and a chain restaurant when we wanted to experience local dining. Beware of extra charges (they charged for items from the mini-bar that we did not use, but reversed those charges). No free wi-fi. The hotel cab service that they use by default is very expensive. You have to specifically ask for a radio taxi (or other taxi). The hotel restaurant Nick-san was expensive and the food quality was not great, but I guess that should be expected. there was street construction nearby, and loud construction late at night and early in the morning on a high-rise being built next to our room.

Central Location

Cons: Provide free Wifi. With so many cafes offering free wifi, you would think a room in a high end hotel would at least offer basic connectivity.
Within a walk to museums, Chapultepec Park, Zona Rosa, and metro lines. With so many eating options in Mexico City did not try the attached restaurant, however the Spa facilities were first rate.

It is a pleasant hotel. I saw two problem. When you book the hotel is not upfront about the fact that there is a surcharge for wifi. It is left out vage. Second is some services are over priced because ......

I always stay in a hotel that has free wifi either in room or in lobby area. But this one doesn't. It's very inconvenience.

Nice hotel in good location in the Reforma area

Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: The Hotel is clean, safe, well run and in a good location.
We stayed 5 days as tourists. The hotel was clean, modern and well staffed. The location is great for walking to the Zona Rosa or to the museums and attractions in the Bosque de Chapultepec. Paseo de la Reforma is the busy heart of commerce and government in Mexico City. There was always traffic, construction, loud bars, sirens and outdoor events so it was busy and noisy but also vibrant and interesting. We were able to go to all the major central city landmarks, museums, historic areas ether by foot, subway, or short taxi rides. Overall this was a great hub from which to explore the city center. We did not use any of the spa facilities. We were upgraded to a suite for no extra charge so we could have the king bed we requested. There were no bad surprises. Everything was about what we expected for a somewhat pricey full-service hotel.
