Great location for a decent pricePosted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: Centrally located, close to the bus, close to Insurgentes and Reforma, safe neighbourhood, helpful staff. Right near a park
Cons: More English channels, the TV cabinet doors could retract or opened all the way. Hotel could use a few updates but it was fine in my books.
Location: 2 blocks from Insurgentes, and Reforma. Walking distance to many monuments, restaurants, and bars. Easy to get anywhere because transit is so great.
My friend picked this because it was a good price and centrally located.I had gone on Google maps and was dubious. It was a great location indeed. The Sevilla isn't fancy, the restaurant is very average but you're situated so close to tonnes of great restaurants and diverse street food vendors, it really didn't matter. The wifi was a bit flakey. I could get connection in the lobby sometimes and only in my room on a few occasions. But there was a lovely cafe around the corner where I could go, have a great cappuccino and do all my internet business. Connection was always great there. The hotel had lots of hot water, good shower pressure, very pleasant helpful front desk staff. If you don't need fancy, this is a good solid, safe place for the price.
