TERRIBLE, COLD, VERY UN-CONFORTABLE BATHROOM, OLD,Posted Jan 20, 2014
Location: THE LOCATION IS TOO GOOD FOR THIS HOTEL. THIS HOTEL SHOULD NOT BE LOCATED IN THIS AREA...IT IS TOO BAD
VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. 1ST OF ALL IT IS UNDER REMODELATION, NOISY, REST. VERY COLD, ETC. I WOULD STAY HERE NOT EVEN FOR FREE. THIS HOTEL SHOULD BE A MOTEL..LIKE THOSE CHEAPY MOTELS. FOR A HOTEL I WOULD GIVE IT A 1 STAR RATING....AS A MOTEL IT WOULD HAVE A 3 STAR RATING.

Major Let Down, not up to parPosted Jan 6, 2014
Pros: Its location and the toiletries.
Cons: customer service, meal variety in the restaurant, carpets, noise reduction inside the hotel. DEFINATELY THE WIFI
Location: Excelent location, lots of cafés, restaurants, parks and shops within steps of the hotel and nearby areas.
Lazy & slow reception at front desk. Dated and smelly carpets. No advice about the hotel lobby and bar being under renovations. (Noisy works during the daytime) Noisy spa Faulty (constantly) wifi in rooms.

Perfect LocationPosted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: The spa and the restaurant
Location: All restaurants are close by to walk. El Japonez is must for Asian cuisine and the Antara Shopping Mall is worth to walk through.
The hotel is perfectly located for doing business in Polanco. Also everything is in reach of walking. The SPA of the hotel is outstanding.

Don't let the loud lobby put you off,Posted Dec 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a luxurious and convenient hotel. I have had problems with W hotels in the past, but once one gets past the thumping lobby and self-consciously hip elevators, the rooms are wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel.

It's a great place for $200 a night. But the only rate I could get (for the lowest grade room) was around $400 a night...not worth it! There are better, cheaper places in the area. I do have to say that the service was better than expected. Still, it doesn't make up for an average room, and broken door handles at $400 a night.

Trendy but wonderfulPosted Oct 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great service, beautiful spaces, friendly young staff, fine location in upscale neighborhood. Stayed in a "Wonderful Room", which was huge, very comfortable, and had a hammock in the shower area, looking out at the city from the 21st floor. Perfect place, fabulous breakfast buffet and also very fine cooked breakfasts. Cannot imagine a more welcoming hotel with this level of comfort and service. (I like the spareness of the design, too, and the energy of the young staff)

Pros: Clean modern and friendly
Great hotel but definitely needs to extend their bar hours, came back from dinner @ 12:30 for some drinks and found everything closed......
