Hotel needs a renovations, small ones. It is an old building and you can feel it, I doesn’t feel modern I don’t really like the feeling I am in an old building

There was nothing I didn’t like or enjoy about this property. The staff is great, the ambiance, and the location. Everyone is very attentive and provided efficient and quick service.

I liked that it was in a very good location, the guest services was average, I was feeling bad one day my husband went down to the lobby to request water at 11am they brought the water at 6pm and because my husband requested it again the rooms are a little outdated

Restaurant doesn’t have options. In room from both facets running hot boiling water complain didn’t help Lighting in the room absurd Bedding not convenient.

It was my second time staying in the hotel and again I enjoyed my stay very much. The hotel is located at a superb location - quiet and safe with lots of nice cafes and restaurants. It is close to many attractions including Museo Nacional de Antropología and the shopping street Avenida Presidents Masaryk. The hotel itself is very lively. There are always spectacular events and activities happening in the hotel. My room was very cozy, spacious and with a good city view. I again had dinner at the hotel restaurant Trivvu. Food was good, atmosphere was cozy and staff service was superb as always. In particular staff member Giovanny gave me excellent recommendations and dedicated service. I would certainly choose the same hotel if I visit Mexico City again.

We booked this hotel last minute (day of arrival) as our travel plans changed. We chose the W because of previous positive experiences at other W hotels and that it was rated 5 star. First, W Mexico City is not a 5 star. - it is 4 star (in Mexico). our room was very weird, awkward bathroom with doors that open outward, dated decor circa 1995. disappointments included coffee in the lobby. there was complementary coffee in the lobby on Sunday. but on our departure day Monday (today), there was not. they directed me to the restaurant on the 1st floor where i got 2 take-out coffees. The host then gave me a room charge to sign - which surprised me given the bartender downstairs sent me upstairs to get coffee.... (see where I'm getting?). On the positive, the Concierge was helpful in translating a business voice mail directory in Spanish that i needed to contact. Also, The spa was very nice, with attentive staff. Lastly the location in Polanco is excellent, easy to walk around and enjoy and convienent to local attractions like the Anthropoligy Museum and Zoo. Personally, I would not stay there again. I would look at other options.

Great service, needs upgrades though!
The staff was wonderful! There was no microwave, but the chef heated and cooked our leftovers and they were served beautifully! The ice machine was out of commission on the 8th floor, so we had to keep asking for buckets of ice. The mirror under the sink was cracked, the windows could have been cleaned better, and they need to upgrade TVs to smart TVs. It was a bit outdated I thought. The area around was very nice, close to some great restaurants and I always felt safe in the area.

The hotel is located at a luxury area with a lot of chic restaurants. It is close to Avenida Presidente Masaryk and Paseo de la Reforma. The room is spacious, clean, stylishly decorated with a very good view. Staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful, making me feeling at home.

I love the vibe of W Hotels. Mexico city W is fantastic because is a walking distance to all the fine dinning at Polanco. Walking at 1:30 AM and feeling safe is a Travelers dream.
