Located mid-way between downtown Miami and Fort Lauderdale, El Palacio Sports Hotel is adjacent to Calder Casino and Race Course and seven blocks from Sun Life Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins football team, University of Miami Hurricane's Football, Florida Marlins baseball team, and the FedEx Orange Bowl game.
The hotel is home to a ninth-floor grill and sports bar with casino, race course, and stadium views where guests enjoy watching sports on multiple 10-foot-tall TVs with surround sound.

“GREAT FOR SPORTS ENTHUSIAST”
We were going to Miami for the Orange Bowl and BCS Championship games. Our original accommodations became unavailable through another location's mix-up and we found the El Palacio at the last minute. It turned out to be the perfect location for our trip. The location is great for Dolphin Stadium and the Calder Horse Racetrack. The staff was helpful and accommodating. For sports events at Dolphin Stadium, we would definitely go back.

We were so pleasantly surprised with this hotel given the low rates! It was truly a home away from home, huge comfortable room, a balcony with a great view, clean and quiet....loved it! We were vacationing and found the central location between Miami and Fort Lauderdale to be a huge plus. We drove all over the place over a week on about $30 worth of gas. Staff was very polite and helpful and I really appreciated how kind they were to my 7 year old daughter at the front desk. A great place to stay!

A great place to stay if you are visiting Land Shark Stadium. Right next door and located in the middle of everything, stores and restaurants are all around.
“Diamond in the Rough”
Great location... Sports Hotel with easy access to many Miami venues. I loved the hotel theme on game day. Friendly and attentive staff. Hotel was next door to race track so we had a great sports weekend at the track as well as attending the Buffalo Bills game. Hotel has a great pool, facilities, tennis, miniature golf and great restaurant on the top floor. I will definitely go back next time the Bills are in town.
“Great Hotel and Experience!!”
Overall I had a great experience. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. There was more than enough secured parking. I liked the miniature golf course. The continental breakfast was just perfect. The hotel is next to the Turnpike and about 3 minutes away from the Palmetto Expressway. The room had a microwave and a mini fridge which came in handy after buying some groceries from the nearby Walmart. The only negative thing I noticed was that the door restraint needed replacement as it would slam. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is one of the best Hotel in Miami,. Florida. The rooms are clean. As well as the lobby area. Great Vacation spot. It is also close to the Staduim.

EL.Palicio is the only hotel i stay at when i visit miami.When you enter the front door you feel welcome. The staff are very friendly and helpfull.I feel very safe and comfprtable and safe when am there even down to the parking lot i feel safe.Keep up the good work.I,ll be seeing you,ll soon

While not on the ocean, I loved the location. Take a jaunt down to Key Largo, Naples, Miami Beach, Ft Lauderdale; you are centred for everything. We took in a Panthers game. You need wheels, but then again I wouldn't go anywhere without a ride. Great to leave from and great to return to.

“Cleaniness next to the race track”
The room was OK on first appearance; however, once we started to go to bed, we noticed the soiled bedspread. After housekeeping changed this, we noticed soiled sheets and blacket. Not exactly mour desired way to spend the night.
