You get what you pay for. Great value and great location. Close to local attractions and beaches are just a short drive away.

“Pretty nice hotel”

Very nice hotel rooms. And free parking a plus! But their was quite a bit of noise in area surrounding hotel, and it took too long to check in! Overall, I would stay here again.

“Near Baseball And Horse Racing”

The price was great. The staff very pleasant.Not bad for a short stay. The room was clean and that way every day by the maids. The towels could be better. The bed was fine! All in All a great stay!

“Good Experience”

The hotel is conveniently located near Dolphins Stadium. However, it is a long walk ... at least 3/4 mile ... so if your goal is to avoid paying parking fees, plan for plenty of time to get there. The check-in process took a long time. We were there for the World Baseball Classic and I believe that they may have overbooked. It took them a long time to get us a room. However, we ended up with a gorgeous room on the 8th floor overlooking the racetrack (unfortunately the horses were not running or it would have been really cool) and with a great view of Dolphins Stadium and the Miami skyline.

“Good for travel with kids”

This is a excellent hotel to stay at if your traveling with kids. There's more options than just the pool, they have a basketball court, fitness room, mini golf course, and a football goal on the front lawn.The hotel provides all necessary equipment required at the front desk.(not sure about a football because we had our own). There is no doubt if traveling with the kids to this area I would stay there again.

“cheap and pretty nice”

My stay at el palacio was nice. I have no complaints and will be staying there again. My only complaint would be the stupid safe and resort fee that you have to pay no matter what. I didnt even use the safe.

“Get there early”

If your going to a dolphins game get there about 3 hours early, the shuttle leaves 2 hours before the game and the check in line was long. The lobby and hall smelt like sweat but the room was very clean, no 40in lcd in jacuzzi suite like they said, regular tv. Our patio was also dirty but room right off the pool with your own patio was nice touch. Staff very nice but needed more at check in. Worst thing of all the shuttle back was late and took an hour and a half to get us back 1 mile to hotel, traffic after game terrible. Good thing was you could buy beer from the bar by the 6 pack 7.99 not bad!!!

the staff was helpful, hotel could do with a upgrade.

This sports themed hotel is really great. From the front door the hotel looks good. The people are very cordial and I would definitely come back again.

The hotel was fine and served its purpose. Great value for the money
