“Can't wait to go back”

I arrived at the hotel at noon and Al was at the desk and checked me in immediately. He was very accommodating. Things got better from there. My room was very comfortable and I had plenty of storage space. The breakfasts were wonderful and I could eat out on the porch with the sun coming up over the water. Spectacular! The hotel was immaculately clean. The evening dinner at their restaurant "A Fish Called Avalon" was excellent. I had a wonderful stay and expect to stay here on future trips to Miami Beach. I feel I have finally found the best for me.

Arrived late, close to 11pm, and was greeted with a friendly place. Very accommodating for all my needs. Close to beach, patios and shopping.

first i must say this is not a 4 start hotel, the facilities are just like a motel or ever worse. however it's one of the hotel that most colse to miami beach. around it u can find a lot of resturant and bar to enjoy ur nightlife. but pay attention, the parking is a problem~

This is a small hotel but very nice and right on the beach. The room is ample with no problems. The hotel didnt have anything extra ie pool or gym but thats b/c its right on the beach/ocean dr why would u want to stay in the hotel. Very great location on Ocean Dr.

“Great value, excellent location”

The hotel is right in the heart of the South Beach action and across the street from the ocean. The rooms were modern and clean, comfortable bed, big bathroom, flat-screen TV. The free continental breakfast had plenty of food and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a great deal.

“A Really Clean, Cool Hotel”

The Avalon experience was just what we wanted. Staff was friendly, helpful and unassuming. Watching the passersby from the dining room at breakfast was much better than just reading the paper--folks included young moms with strolers, joggers, cyclists, dog-walkers and cadres of young and old, just enjoying the morning. Our room was comfortable and clean clean clean. We recommend The Avalon if you want a relaxing experience in an Art-Deco environment.

“Great place to stay in South Beach”

Great little boutique hotel, it's comfy and clean and gives everything you could expect for the cost. Yes the room was a bit small, but how much time will you be spending in your hotel room with so much to see and do right outside the front door? The bed was most comfortable with lots of extra pillows supplied. The complimentary breakfast buffet gave us plenty of choices, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again!
