elevator from hell..

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: location.
Cons: everything.
you don't have control over the AC in the room. so if you are not single don't go there, elevator from hell.. its scary you need to watch out so you don't lose your hand or fingers when you close the door.

Good location but need a lot of updates

Posted Jul 19, 2015
It was an ok hotel just because of location but other than that the hotel is old and need a lot of updates, sheets were dirty and the room was really small

Decent Hotel. Great Location.

The room I had was large and spacious. It had a few quirks though: 1) No closet. For such a large room that sleeps 4, having nowhere to stow your clothes was a huge disappointment. 2) Hot water issue. It took a very long while for the shower to heat up to something bearable. I'm guessing their water heater just couldn't keep up. It was the 4th of July long weekend and every room was taken. 3) Bathroom mirror was mounted beside the sink rather than in front. Very odd, and made shaving difficult. Aside from that, overall I liked the place. Jamil the concierge was great; they have an ice machine in-house readily accessible to all guests; and you're at the beginning of the strip. You're literally across the street from the beach, and you're far enough from the main entertainment area on the strip that the late night noise isn't a bother. I'd recommend this hotel for the fellas. Mirror issues and non-existent closet space makes this place not female-friendly.

nice location....BUT

the queen size bed is a joke, my husband and I both sunk to the middle of the bed. the complimentary breakfast is a laughing stock the value is $4.00 which is nothing since a cup of Orange juice is $6.00!! A SMALL DIXIE CUP!!!

Pros: The location
Great location but the hotel is dirty, they nickel and dime the guests and they are very rude.

Paradise hotel

Posted May 25, 2015
First off, I was charged $100 more by the hotel than what I was told on the site. The staff barely spoke English and refused to answer my questions directly so I ended up just letting it go. The rooms are so cold that even 3 blankets couldn't keep away the discomfort. The wifi never worked no matter how many times we asked we couldn't get the situation fixed. You couldn't receive anything at the front desk towels/blankets/pillows etc. they insisted on sending them to the room, each time we had to call down a second time to remind them after over 45 min and only then would you get what you asked for. They also took a $230 damage deposit which they promised would be available the day after checkout. I've been home almost 3 days and will have to call and argue with people that will act like they don't know what your talking about only to probably not get my deposit back even though the room was left in perfect condition. all in all if it were cheap to stay there I would just disregard the annoyances. However I paid over 100 per day and expected to at least be able to get a towel or blanket. I will not make the mistake of staying here again

Nice basic hotel close to beach

Posted May 21, 2015
May 2015- I almost missed it the sign out front is extremely small. The lobby is extremely hot because there is no air flowing through there. The hotel staff was pretty pleasant but I was never told prior to my stay there was a $200 credit hold. The elevator was extremely ancient and small but it worked. I didn't think the room would be nice since the rest of the hotel is out dated but the room was ok. Bathroom was very small but the room size was decent for a queen size bed. Cons: There is no central air. The hotels regulates the temperature in the rooms. One night it was so hot I was sweating and the next night it was so cold I woke up numb and with a sore throat. Also they are building something DIRECTLY next door to the hotel so prepare yourself for banging and drilling at 6am everyday. Calling for anything to the front desk is pointless. Nobody ever answered the phone. It was much quicker to just go downstairs to ask for stuff. There was a fight in the room next to me and it took at least 20-25mins for any type of security to arrive. The walls are paper-thin so prepared to hear everything above you and next to you Pros: seconds from the beach. Cheap. And the food and drinks at the restaurant connected was pretty good.
