So close to the beach!

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Beach Paradise is so close to the beach! All you have to do is cross Ocean drive and you're there. If you're looking for a fancy, upscale, 5 star resort...KEEP LOOKING! Beach Paradise is in a wonderful location but not does have all the "glitz and glam" that other south beach hotels have. I would definitely stay here again because it was affordable and in the BEST location.

Loud

Thin windows and party beach district plus bad curtains meant that it was a really rough nights sleep

Worst Hotel in the entire USA

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Be aware of this hotel. Staff is terrible, can barely speak English. A/C doesn't work. Lobby was 100F. Bugs everywhere. Ridiculous $200 deposit for one night stay. I asked for a receipt and the front desk wrote down in a piece of paper, when I complain he told me "sue the hotel". This hotel is a JOKE.

Good location

Posted Aug 6, 2014
The location is great. It's right on the beach and also walking distance to some great bars. The staff was mediocre but not terrible. The room was small and basic but clean. The way the entrance and lobby are set up makes this hotel a great example of art deco architecture, like many other neighboring hotels. The lobby has a small breakfast bar that opens up to the street and a piano in the middle of the room. I'm sure it is not used often but it adds a nice touch.

You get what you pay for

Pros: Location was convenient.
Thought the $200 security deposit was a little ridiculous. $200 could buy you everything they had in the room. Was taken back when they said that. Read the fine print before booking!

Classic Art Deco Hotel in South Beach Miami

Posted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: It's central location and the art deco style.
Cons: The outside color of the hotel is a light grey and doesn't look so nice. It should be repainted. The air-condition in the room cannot be regulated.
Location: Bars, Restaurants, Clubs, the Beach, Shops... it's everything there. Perfect for anybody who wants to stay at the Ocean Drive.
We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed the central location at the Ocean Drive. The hotel is surrounded by bars and restaurants, the beach can be accessed by crossing the road. We had a nice junior suite on the 3rd floor and could overlook the road as well as the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall it was a very nice and convenient place for our Miami South Beach holiday week.

Nice location THATS IT!!

Posted Jul 15, 2014
First checked in I was given one room and I booked two. That was solved but me and my friends were on two different sides of the hotel cause they gave one room away. Then my friend lost his room key (actual key not a card). I was charged $50. Which should have been waived since they gave my room away. Staff was friendly. Great location this is the only thing special about this hotel. Room smelled like mildew and can't control AC. Oh and we ran out of cups that was in the room and was told 50 cent per cup if we want more. They do provide beach towels and have a small fridge in the room. Also have a ice machine. Could be better if they did upgrades.

If your looking for a cheap stay

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Low budget hotel, lobby of hotel has no ac and is extremely hot, but hallways were well conditioned . Room is old fashioned and not the most up to date as well as clean with cracks in the sink and tub a little old , walls had black scrapes on it. You get what you pay for! Great location though!
