I stayed for a couple days. I have stayed here before so I wanted to stay again since it’s right by the beach. Everything went great with check in.The hotel is clean, best water pressure in shower I’ve experienced in a while. The beds and pillows are so comfortable and the fridge is pretty big for a hotel room. The only complaint I have is the laundry service was out of service other than that everything else was great! I would definitely stay there again and would recommend.

After reading the reviews prior to my four day stay, I must admit that my expectations were rather low. I was pleasantly surprised with everything! The location was perfect, staff was very helpful with any of our needs and always with a warm smile. It was clean and comfortable. The coffee machine in the lobby was a huge bonus. The pool was perfect and the beach was incredible. We did get a balcony room and look forward to staying here again next year! Above and beyond ☆☆☆☆:

April 2024 solo female I got an ocean view room which was nice. The only thing about the room was that the toilet always made noises. Bach area was great. I took Lyfts to South beach pretty cheap. This hotel is probably more for families. The resort fee here says you get Food & Beverage discount but you don’t.

It was dirty, the key didn’t work, we had to switch keys many times. The toilet overflow and there was water in half of the room. The guy at beach was rude and not very accommodating. The staff at front desk and restaurant wasn’t very friendly.

Stayed 4 nights. My room was only cleaned once. Had to go to the front desk daily to ask for new clean towels, ask to have the trash thrown out, and provide toilet paper. The pool doesn’t look clear but cloudy and dirty. A gentleman who wears sunglasses at night is not friendly at all. Gives you a serious face when you ask him a question only points at the front desk.

To be completely honest your better off not staying here, pay the extra money go somewhere else, the whole place smells weird, everyone was complaining the A/C didn't work, the staff doesn't help, the photos are catfish, if you want to have a good time in Miami do yourself a favor and pick somewhere else respectfully

Property was dated and run down. It was the hardest bed I’ve ever slept on. The sheets had gum on them. I know this because my husband tried to pick it off and we realized that it was sticky and pulled all over his hand. The towels are made of sandpaper. We had trouble understanding directions from staff about using the laundry machines at the Holiday Inn because theirs have been “broken for a while “! There were wet paint signs all over our hallway that I thought accounted for the horrible smell but when it still smelled that way on the third day (yes, the signs were still up) I realized I just smelled like urine. The beach chair dictator (old guy that gives you a towel and water) was one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. He would not give my husband a towel to dry off with because he was closing in 10 minutes.For $300 a night I expected a little more. One last thing… they have a machine in the lobby that keeps spraying the most disgusting scent in the air.

Just a couple things we noticed from our stay.The room we were in had a leak under the sink, got everything we left under there wet and left a horrible smell. Our friend that stayed a couple doors down toilet was not flushing so the front desk told him the engineer was not there so they handed him a plunger to do it him self. There wasn’t even a full menu at their restaurant because they had said it was due to the rain. So we were told we had to pick from the pool bar menu.

Great hotel, the staff was very friendly and the location is amazing. Lots of things around within walking distance. Keep in mind the cost of parking which is $34 a night if there is availability at the hotel. Everywhere else is $3 per hour. Great stay overall

The hotel is very humid and has this smell that smacks you in the face when you walk in the hallways. The bathroom is very out of date. A good choice if you don’t plan on being in the room much but if you can find something else go for that. This would be a last resort.

Upon check in, our rooms toilet bowl did not flush, i waited 2 hours for a bar of soap to wash my hands. Our toilet bowl leaked from behind and pooled up on the bathroom floor stepping in it in mid of night, the entire 4 days of our stay. It was hard to ask for help or housekeeping as most staff didnt speak english

We travel a few times a year- this hotel is in need of repairs and new help. When we arrived- front desk was not friendly. We were located on the 7th floor, only one of the 2 elevators was working, went to our room used the toilet and it was clogged as well as the air conditioning vent in the room was leaking from the ceiling. Had to take the elevator back downstairs because no one answered the phone- house keeping or front desk. Nice thing is the maintenance man came fairly quickly and unclogged the toilet- Seeded to be a normal thing. There’s no direct entrance to the pool- you have to walk outside and down the side of the building to the pool area. Got to the bar to grab a drink and there was no one there during their normal operating hours. Then went out to the beach using the locked gate behind the pool area and on our way back the gate would not work with my room key. We then had to talk around to the front entrance- i stopped at the unfriendly staff at the front desk and she said the gate doesn’t work. I suggested they put a sign up so customers are aware. We had a room with an adjoining door to the room next to us which was occupied and could hear their conversations- it was very uncomfortable. Parking is on a first come first serve basis, second option for parking located a couple buildings down so you’ll want to be prepared to walk to your car and pay $42 per 24 hrs. The price to stay at this hotel is reasonable but adds up when you add parking and resort fee
