“Could be better mantained”

The Shucker bar that is in the firs floor of the hotel receive guest from outside of the hotel and need to use the same door that leads to the guest elevator. Moreover, those people use the best spots of the parking lot. It needs paint, recycling, etc. The best was the breakfast.

“Good hotel for the price”

I spent a long time looking for a place to stay during Miami's very busy Art Basel Weekend. The best thing about this hotel was that it offered free parking. So it was very easy to come and go through out the day. The staff was friendly. The hotel was in a quite location. The bed was very comfortable. What more can you ask for. The only complaint I had, there was some mold growing in the entrance of our room, but I never asked for another room so I can hardly complain. I would definitely stay there again.

Other than the location, nothing great about this hotel. You can stay right on the beach for half the price and same poor quality accommodations. Too bad...

“Great place to stay !”

I was attracted to this hotel because it offered free parking. If you stay here and want to visit Miami, the Evergaldes etc; you will need a car as it is a few miles from the hub of south beach & miami beach. Check in and check out was fast and friendly. We stayed for 3 nights - the room was very nice & the bed was comfortable. Our room was in a quiet park of the hotel and we had a nice balcony. Breakfast was ok - nothing special; and I totally dislike the throw away plates, bowls, knives forks etc - in fact it really annoys me, but so many hotels do it. I would much rather have real plates, bowls etc & would happily do my own dishes.....but other than that, I would happily stay here again and would recommend the hotel as a really good reasonably priced place to stay when vsiting Miami.

“4 nights on the Causeway”

A mediocher experience witha premium price! The location of the hotel is quite nice, being on the causeway. However, we paid for an upgraded room with a balcony. Come to find out the balconies all face a parking lot and another highrise condo accross the way. Walked out there once in 4 days. Best Western Plus needs to get their act together on the "Free Hot Breakfast". It was convenient, but all carbohydrates with only hardboiled eggs (does anyone really like these?) and pre-packaged yogurt for protien. Lots of sugary muffins & pastries, bread, bagels, waffles but no hot cereals, nor scrambled or cooked to order eggs, no sausage, bacon or ham. No grits or homefries. Plastic utensils that broke upon use. The on-site restaurant/bar was OK. Open air, with a large pavillion roof. Sports bar decor. Noisy. Terrific view of Biscayne Bay with outdoor tables overlooking the marina. Roast beef sandwich au jus with horseradish sauce was the best I've had anywhere. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was "a little tired" but clean, adequate and serviced dailey. We asked for a top floor to be away from the 1st floor noise & activity.

PROs: * Very good location. Close to Design District, Miami Beach & Aventura. * For the very good rate, you get Free parking, Free Wifi, & Free Continental Breakfast * Nice relaxing space by the bay (pool, deck, restaurant). Though we didn't get to enjoy much because of the weather. * Nice Room, bed, desk, etc. CONs: * Very Small Bathroon. * Very small space for breakfast (always crowded, hard to fina seat). * Very bad Shower (this is the one thing that drops a whole star for me). Temperature fluctuates a lot (even burning level), extremely small space, and no mixer. Still, even eith the CONs, I recommend this hotel for a Miami trip, because of the value you get for the very good rate.

“Good for a few nights”

The hotel doesn't look very flashy, certainly compared to the expensive, ultra modern and flashy like other accomodations that are nearby but the hotel certainly gives good value for the amount charged. Clean rooms, overview of the harbour, nice pool, lots of parking space and ideally situated for going out to Miami, Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale and all other interesting stuff. Staff was friendly and helpfull.
