“Great escape”

This hotel is conveniently located to the beach cities without the high cost. The outdoor bar/grill, Shucker's, is the beat part of my stay.

“Surprised me”

Hotel was just perfect for us. Parking was a little bit tricky though and last day we figured out why. There are people working close by and they leave their cars on hotel parking lot. That being said, quest has hard time with finding empty spots.

“Very honest stay - Business travellers might look for something more sophisticated”

I picked a good hotel + car deal in Expedia for my 3-day business journey in Miami, so I did not expect much from this hotel. Nonetheless, the package delivered by this Best Western (inclusive 2-queen bedroom w/ good air conditioning + regular breakfast + parking + wireless + bay view + swimming pool + regular gym) was a way above it. Nothing in the hotel was sophisticated, but everything was totally honest. Further to that, staff was nice and responsive. Only 2 "buts": (i) dark blue carpets in the rows to the rooms. They are well maintened, but make you feel in an old place; and (ii) it has a leisure atmosphere (pool, bay, a nice thematic restaurant attached, people in swimwear), so it may be a problem for those focused on business! in anyy event, either for leisure or business, I would definitely return!

Check-in was very quick with staff explaining their facilities and directing us to our room. Staff were very helpful. We had a large very clean room which accomodated our family of five easily. Excelent buffet style breakfast was included in our stay. Overall, excelent hotel and would certainly recommend.

“Good deal”

We took advantage of the free airport shuttle. Our shuttle was prompt and we were able to check into our hotel right away, even though we were there hours before check in. Our room was okay with 2 queen beds and a small refigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker, but we took advantage of the free self serve breakfast in the hotel lobby. We had a great lunch on the outdoor deck of the hotel's restaurant and enjoyed watching the local boaters pull up and dock their boats at the restaurant. We walked to North Beach as we wanted some exercise, about a 3 mile hike, but there was a bus stop right outside the hotel that could take you to all the beaches. We booked this hotel for one night before a cruise out of Miami. The hotel and restaurant staff were very helpful in giving us directions on bus routes and beach info. As well as transporting us to the cruise port, for an additional small fee. We would use this hotel again if we go on another cruise out of Miami.
