Pior hotel de Miami Beach!!

Posted Jan 23, 2015
As fotos divulgadas enganam.

Small glitches but a very nice stay.

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: The staff! From doorman to front desk to housekeepers, everyone was helpful and friendly. We made a lot of requests and never felt ignored or put off.
Cons: The facilities can use a bit of updating in terms of paint. Front desk people are overworked and have to juggle a lot!
Location: It's South Beach! EVerything right at your fingertips and Boulan has its own beach front across the street.
Stayed for 3 nights over MLK weekend - two adults and two kids ages 9 and 10. We had a terrace 1 BR facing Collins Ave. The room was extremely large with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, 1.5 baths, pullout couch and queen bed. We had some issues with the room - toilet clogged twice and safe not working - but each time we called, maintenance came to fix the problem within 10 minutes of when we called the front desk. The front desk seemed overworked but met our every request (including a last minute car reservation request) with a smile and good cheer. The pool area on the roof was lovely. Best part of the hotel is its restaurant - the Orange Blossom. Again, staff was uniformly friendly and helped us make the best use of our free breakfast vouchers when we wanted to also order off the regular menu. We had dinner there one night and the food was thoughtful and outstanding (ate ravioli, seafood risotto, mushroom risotto, mussels, burrata and tomato appetizer and tuna tartare). This is a really good hotel for families - it is on the more quiet end of South Beach. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Very nice; but not quite a hotel yet

Posted Jan 17, 2015
Pros: The suites are very large, modern and nicely decorated.
Cons: The patio and pool furniture require some upkeep. Pool umbrellas are needed for shade.
Location: Great location. Loads of retaurants. A 5 minute walk to Lincoln Road Mall and a 10 minute walk to Espanola Street. A 2 minute walk to the beach.
The lobby is small; but that is quickly forgiven when you arrive at your suite. We had a large, very modern and spotless apartment. One and a half baths with a huge master bathroom. The bathtub and shower were ultra modern but the shower lacked soap dishes. The bedroom had a king bed and glass pocket doors leading to the living room, dining area and kitchen. Furniture and decorations were lovely; but a lot of the storage cupboards and drawers are somewhat cheaply made and stick. We also had a huge 500 square foot terrace overlooking Collins Ave. Unfortunately the terrace furniture was in need of obvious repair and cleaning. Location is just 4 or 5 blocks north of Lincoln Road Mall with its fun food and people watching. Now for the small issues that sets it apart from a full service hotel: 1. The roof top pool is a lovely area; but there are no patio umbrellas, no pool service, no service, no extra towels and the padded chaise lounges need cleaning. 2. Breakfast is included; but they don't tell you its food limitations or the fact that you have to go to an independent restaurant located down the block. Apparently this situation will be changing soon when they open their own restaurant. 3. There is no room service for food or drinks. 4. Apparently the Boulan Hotel owns a part of the hotel and the other part is owned by Villa Bagatelle. The two owners of the hotel book separately. I'm not sure whether there are differences in the room rates. Overall, highly recommended.

appartamento ok ma non con servizi adeguati

Posted Jan 3, 2015

Spacious room with a Miami flair

Posted Dec 30, 2014
The room was comfortable with a cool vibe. It was like having our very own Miami apartment. The doormen were very friendly and helpful. The front desk was nice but they didn't seem to know very much about the area which seemed odd. Overall we had a great experience.

Big room, terribly run

Posted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: Room size
Cons: Hotel service all around, and decor updates
Location: Location is great
For a grand a night I expect MUCH more. From the moment I pulled up to the hotel in a cab and the two doormen looked at me and said "sup" to which I replied how about getting my bag from the truck that what's "up"' to being woken up every morning by euro techno at 4:30 am coming from the room next door, and no one being at the front desk to deal with it, the service was underwhelming. It was Miami Basel, and hotel prices are outrageous everywhere, but this was too much

3rd time at the Boulan!!

Posted Dec 2, 2014
Pros: The room are huge. It feels like you in a condo
Cons: Nothing
Location: Eat, shop, beach
This is the best hotel in South Beach hands down. The rooms are all beautiful and the hotel staff makes it all worthwhile. We were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us a complementary bottle of wine to mark the occasion. Thank You Boulan staff you all are amazing!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was close to everything, also came with breakfast from the restaurant downstairs and 15% off dinner. The room itself was amazing, looked like something from a movie. My husband and I felt like royalty staying there for our anniversary. Most definitely booking this hotel again.
