Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa

First of all the access uphill ramp to the hotel is steep and the entrance area is plugged with parked cars. It took us a while to reach the front doors.A BAD DESIGN FEATURE The entrance area is exposed to the Easterly winds off the Ocean which is the prevailing wind in South Florida. The entrance doors are hard to open and close due to the stiffness of the door hardware which is necessary to control the operation of the doors from the effects of the wind. THIS IS ANOTHER BAD DESIGN FEATURE. The toilet in our Room No316 was located inside the bathroom in a cubicle separated by a pair of sliding doors hard to operate. There was very little room between the toilet paper holder and the toilet seat. Very uncomfortable. ANOTHER BAD DESIGN FEATURE. We always trusted EXPEDIA. We willl be very careful in our future dealings

Great, relaxing!

With an excellent location on the beach and boardwalk and with great facilities, this is the best place to stay in Miami without question. The suites are self catering and fully equipped. Valet service is good.Food is Ok if you want to watch your diet- dont expect burgers.

I had a great stay. Room was nice, staff were pleasing and available. I didn't use much of their SPA activities though, but they all seem interesting for those with time for that (and money!). I'd definitely recommend it.

Great Hotel. No 5 star, but very close. The location and spa are awesome!

Everything was exactly the same as the pictures and ads. It was just beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The service was wonderful We had a great stay!!

Execellent hotel. Great spa and gym facilities. Very helpful consierge. Unfortunately there restaurant is not very pleasing. Poor menu choice

Perfect service, exquisite spa, fabulous classes and gym, amazing room! I just can't say enough good things about this place!!! So relaxing, right on the beautufil beach. The suite rooms are huge snd so elegantly decorated. The beds are superb- you feel so at home here it is wonderful!

This place is IT for me! LOVED it. I went there with some friends and enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. This place is everything a girl would want-Wellness workshops, individual or group fitness activities as well as full gym, spacious room,SPA, beach, pools, healthy organic restaurant, lounge, and more spa! The resort is 15-20 minutes cab-ride away to South Beach area and within walking distance to some of the amazing restaurants and stores. Can't wait to go there again with my husband or my sisters!

Great place for those into healthy living. We left the facility feeling rejuvenated, rested, refreshed, and in balance. Remember, this is a luxury destination resort and spa so expect to pay top dollar for everything. Spa services and facilities were excellent, however, the women's spa can get overcrowded. Meals were very good and the menu had a nice selection of healthy options as we expected. Loved the fitness classes offered. Wished we had more time to do more of them. Hotel staff professional, courteous as expected. Many areas are cell phone free areas which is fantastic in terms of relaxation but it would be great if all guests actually adhered to the policy. Property is right on the beach, has beautiful views, plenty of outdoor seating/relaxation areas. Beach services like padded lounge chairs, towels, water, and sunscreen are provided at no cost. At least one of the property's pools is adult only which is relaxing and makes for a quieter area. Nice walk/jog path. South Beach is only 10 - 15 min taxi ride away and there are plenty of things to do there in terms of night life, dining, and shopping. Overall, our stay was very good and we would visit this property again.
