“Great Relaxing Trip”

This hotel was great - the room decor was nice and we loved having a ceiling fan. We did not have a view, but we didn't have any noise either from the hallway or from the bar. The food from Oriente is fabulous, and the staff was courteous and helpful at all times during our stay.

“Great South Beach Hotel”

The hotel was amazing! My experience was A+. I had accidently booked my stay for the wrong dates and did not realize it until I tried to check in. The person at the front desk went out of her way to get us a nice room for the same price. She even called expedia for me to correct the mistake. The room was more than what I expected and it was located across from the beach!! I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends!

“South Beach's cutest hotel”

One of the most charming hotels in South Beach, the staff is friendly and helpful. The food was superb, and the room was clean. They could use a tv update, but your in South Beach who watches tv, maybe an iHome for entertainment and iPhone charging. Love it and would go again and recoment it

“Nice Hotel Overall”

The Cardozo is a nice little boutique hotel right across from the beach. The location is amazing - just a short walk from shopping, restaurants, clubs, beach, etc. There's a city parking garage right next door too, so if you wanted to park there instead of doing valet, it's not a long walk with heavy luggage to the hotel. The exterior of the hotel is stunning, as is the lobby and other common areas. The guest rooms are decent. The decor is kinda all over the place, but not bad. They're a pretty good size considering that it's South Beach. They weren't dirty, but could have been a little cleaner, to be completely honest. I think if housekeeping cleaned more thoroughly, it would make a huge difference in the overall quality of the hotel. Staff was very nice and very helpful. Restaurant at the hotel was nice too, good food and pretty reasonable for lunch on Ocean Drive. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Cardozo and would probably go back. As I said, if the rooms were kept a little cleaner, I would definitely go back and probably make it my usual hotel when I visit South Beach in the future.

This hotel was awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a hip hotel on south beach. A clean, well kept hotel with friendly staff right near some tasty restaurants

“Relaxation, Location, Happening yet Quiet,”

Positives: * Immediately across from the beach. This place even gives you beach towels when you're on your way to the beach. The staff was very helpful and courteous. This place made the access to beach so convenient. * The room was mediterranean/european style, especially the bathroom. It can get a little messy in the bathroom while taking shower but they provide you with towels to lay on the floor. I had no problems whatsover. It was quite nice. * the room had beach view and wide angled windows. Made the room so much better especially in the day time. * hardwood floors in the room made it so much better. I cannot stand the carpets not knowing how much filth is hiding in there. I didn't realize how clean the room was till I noticed that I was walking with bare feet. I never do that. * the room was very elegant, cozy and comfortable. The hotel staff was very nice and pleasing. They also seem to be huge Gloria Estefan fans. There's no place in the lobby or corridor where you wouldn't see or hear Gloria Estefan's videos and songs. The only bad, which really wasn't bad was their Air Conditioning. It blows a lot of air which is awesome but I think either it was broken or set at a certain temp but it didn't cool much. The temperature was still absolutely perfect. Overall Cardozo far exceeded my expectatons. If I'm in South beach again I know where to stay. BTW, Versace mansion is about 100 feet from the hotel.

“Wonderful staff, wonderful experience!”

The staff was absolutely the best and were always very helpful in answering any questions that we had about the area (which we had several since this was our first visit to South Beach). The location of the hotel was perfect and allowed us to park our vehicle and walk everywhere during our entire stay. I can't say anything negative about our visit to Cardozo. I think that, if pressed, my only recommendation would be to request a room on the third floor since the hardwood floors tend to get a little loud at times if the guests above you have "heavy feet". Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel for a fun-filled vacation.

One of the earlier historic art deco hotels to be restored in South Beach, the Cardozo is well kept and current, with a great location and superb restaurant, providing great value for travelers.

The location is really good at the heart of south beach. Though some of the items in the room is a little dusty. But love the look of the room!
