“Terrible!!”
The dirtiest Hotel!
“Not too shabby pet friendly hotel”
The hotel is run down but not horribly so. it's in a descent neighborhood with lots of shopping and food within .5 mile. Reasonable pet fee made it a great choice for traveling with our dog.
“"Worst place I ever stayed"”
It started with us having to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes at the airport for the shuttle. I called the hotel 3 times before it finally picked us up. Seems as though hotel houses Carnival Cruise Line crew and shuttle picks them up first. Carpet in room was filthy, took shower and walked to my bed by the time I got there the bottom of my feet were black. The bathtub was dirty and stained. The pool was so dirty, we wouldn't have thought of going into it. The continental breakfast consisted of a cup of coffee or juice (not both) and 2 slices of bread that was barely toasted. No jelly.... The only good thing about this place was the shuttle to the port. That is certainly not enough to stay again. Next time I will pay more and use a Taxi to the hotel and port.

“Don't stay Here”
Hotel service terrible. Don't trust the sign in the lobby or the promise at check-in that an airport shuttle is provided upon checkout. The driver never shows up to work. The sign on the lobby procaiming that an airport shuttle is provided should be removed.
“dont count on e-mail service”
this is an old but recently renovated motel close to a major highway, airport and the attractions of coral gables. there is a restaurant on the facilities, the front desk staff is attentive, free parking on the premises, and they accept small pets ($15 extra per day). the hotel also has a computer in the lobby for use by guests. the downside is that this hotel also has a contract to house and feed the employees of carnival lines cruises in between their trips. although these employees, and there are many of them, are respectful...they monopolize the computer facilities, 24 hrs a day, prohibiting the rest of us from using it. my labtop was unable to connect from the hotel and, several times a day, i needed to use the lobby computer for work. i attempted to do so multiple times during each of my 4 day stay, and at all hours of day and night with little success.

Well maintained older hotel. Good location for my purposes.
