Very nice location ,Posted Dec 9, 2014
Pros: The room I stayed in 110A
Cons: A complete renovation and full clean up off the entire first floor
Like I said, good location but the common areas are kept in a deplorable and shameful condition.

Cons: change the hotel room's carpet for tile
Location: Walk in Miracle Mile Eat in the Hotel Greek Restaurant
The hotel is old, but the rooms are big, confortable, with Smart TV, refrigerator, desk, balcony. The airport/hotel transportation was excellent.

Reasonable Accomodation close to MIAPosted Nov 27, 2014
Pros: Close to the airport
Cons: Update common areas and some furnishings.
Location: The area is mostly businesses and some residences. We felt much safer than a hotel we stayed at previously a mile or two away.
The room was large and clean. Some traffic noise is heard but it mostly disappears at night. The hotel is old but the rooms have been maintained.

Nice LocationPosted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: nice location
Cons: staff, room/bathroom facilities, plenty of room for improvement
Location: we were in town for NASCAR in Homestead, easy drive, nice overall location
hotel is in need of updating. Had to ask for coffee for the room everyday, had to ask for an extra towel. no hot water in the bathroom sink but scalding in the shower. Very outdated

Modest hotel for short stayPosted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: It had old-time charm and its history is fascinating. Very good dinner at the Greek restaurant.
Cons: Room was clean, but the carpet had an "old" smell.
Location: Located in the "banking"/business district of Coral Gables---about 1/2 mile from other restaurants and the night life of the area.
We needed a last minute reservation and Chateaubleu worked out just fine. Not fancy, but tidy and friendly. EXCELLENT Greek restaurant.

HOTEL GOOD; STAFF GREATPosted Nov 12, 2014
The Hotel was very clean but a bit dated. The staff was absolutely wonderful. The desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. Other staffers were also just great. That is what I will remember about my stay and what I have told friends. Being close to the airport there is some noise but with the windows and curtains shut I did not find it a problem.

Good value for purposePosted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: Close to Gran Fonda event and good price
Cons: Parking and comfort of bed
Location: Good location. Close to high activity area
Stayed at the hotel to do the Gran Fondo bicycle ride. Was convenient and the hotel was adequate for that. Not a five star but good value for an overnight stay

OK if cheapPosted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Good location, most Coral Gables hotels are much more expensive.
Clean but old. Motel feel. 1st room we were assigned, the key card didn't work. Gave us a different room. Built in 1920.
