Renovated older hotel

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: Hotel was clean and room comfortable.
Cons: Room was noisy and had limited electrical outlets.
Location: Convenient to Rt1, Miami, University and Medical facilities.
Stayed at the Chateaubleau Hotel for a week while visiting family. Hotel was clean and staff helpful. We did not dine at the hotel or use the facilities (pool etc).

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL

Posted Jan 11, 2015
Location: Terrible, run down area. I would not feel safe walking around by myself.
I booked this hotel for my family and I while we were visiting Miami. 1. They did not give me 2 queen beds like requested. Instead, we had full size beds instead. 2. The rug was black and disgusting. 3. The bathroom sink did not work. 4. The shower was broken. 5. The room was very unappealing and disgusting. 6. The parking lot had garbage everywhere. This hotel was not worth the price I paid for.

Great location, no so good rooms.

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location.
Cons: The floors, linens, drappes, bathrooms... It needs a complete renovation.
The best value for the location. However the rooms are not well taken care of. Clean but old everthing...

The facility is old, needs renovating and the furniture is outfashioned. The lobby staff was not friendly, but the little lady in the cafe was very friendly and cute (Say Hi to Her).

Room was recently renovated except the antique air conditioner. Outside temperature was only in the mid 80's and the ac couldn't cool the room properly. Otherwise a nice room with a new large flat screen TV.

Too much noises, didnt sleep well

Posted Dec 30, 2014
the hotel is just by a busy street, a lot of noises from the traffic. the hotel room has no noise insulations, i couldn't sleep at all. continental breakfast was just a few pieces of bread, coffee or/and juice. In terms of the price i paid for the hotel, very disappointed.

I'm sorry to hear that your stay was unpleasant. We are well aware of some noisier rooms that are located on the west side of our building. The noise usually occurs during 5-7 pm during rush hour and we are due in April of 2015 to install noise cancelling impact sliding glass doors. Our continental breakfast includes toast with jellies, fruit juice, and hot beverage like coffee or tea. Additional items have to be purchased like eggs, meat, and cereal. We apologize for your inconvenience.
