Staffing was never friendly, showed constant attitude. They had a leak in the bathroom/shower (water coming from upper level appt) which I asked them to fix it or change the room. They said they will fix it. Two days later I was getting ready to take a shower, the leak continued again. It’s very nasty to get used shower water by other people fall on you. The staffing acted as if I incovenient them with my issue. I would never stay at that place ever again.

Take my word please don't ever go. Worst hotel experience in my life. They should change their sign as a motel or hostel. Not a hotel quality.

Hello Sun, thank you for your review. We are a historic Art Deco hotel, only one block to the beach and Ocean Drive. We provide standard and Suite accommodations with a lobby bar and a cozy courtyard area. We are disappointed not to have met your expectations.

It is located in the heart of South Beach Miami Andy provided a great atmosphere. I loved the jungle hookah lounge they have in their lobby but it may have been the worst nights sleep. The pillows are nothing but air and provided no comfort in the least and to boot, the cleaning lady knocked on our door 30 minutes before check-out and 2 more times in the next 25 minutes. LEAVE ME ALONE WHEN I'M TRYING TO CHECK OUT AND GET NEW PILLOWS!!!

Staff was amazing (Shout out to Katie at front desk. She went above and beyond!) Great location to beach. WARNING: Lobby is not ADA accommodating so if you cannot do stairs do not stay here. There is one room with outside entry that can accommodate a wheelchair (and it is a lovely room). If you need accessible you must book it. NO OTHER ROOMS are accessible. HOTEL NEEDS TO INSTALL A RAMP!

Checkin day was good they give me an early check in ,the room was okay however no one came to our room to clean the next day , the 2keys never worked, I keep going to front desk to have them check it .. not only me other customers as well. The locked in yard have a gate with a code but somehow they have men selling weed and sleeping within that locked gate by the walkway to your room. The bathroom in the lobby same situation , went down there to use it before the airport and there was a guy sleeping in the locked space downstairs …imagine how scary that was for a woman to be down there locked with a “sleeping man outside your toilet. Bar and front desk staff was great but for safety reasons I will not be staying there again and having to wonder if someone would follow me to my room down the back where it was ..once gate is locked ain’t no way someone can help if u need them unless they have the code

The fact that this wasn’t a cheap hotel It really had me upset that my room wasn’t cleaned upon arrival and sheets had blood spots on them I stayed for 6 days and the last night i noticed bedbugs which is unacceptable so this experience will be the last time at this hotel I don’t recommend this hotel for no one

We have weekly preventive maintenance, with documentation, and a thorough inspection process to comply with state and sanitation requirements for the safety of our guests and staff. The room was amazing, easily one of the nicest I've stayed in. Huge bathroom. Nothing on Tv but i had my labtop so that didn't bother me. Staff was friendly with a lot of smiles. The area was safe and just a block off the beach. The only thing i would say is there was a leak from the ceiling light in the bathroom when the people took a shower in the morning. A little distressing but I would still stay there again.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you are a solo traveller as it felt quite unsafe in my opinion. I’m not very picky or critical in general but advertisement pictures make the hotel look more elevated than it really is. The room was decently clean, but had no wifi connection, very loud from outside noise, and started to smell strongly of smoke later in the night. The one good thing is the location.

The stay was convenient, but there’s no microwaves in any room . Also the staff says they don’t have one as well. The locks on the door are so outdated that every time we came back to our room we were outside the door trying multiple attempts until having to keep going to the desk. Other than that they location was very close to the beach, and the parking garage we chose.

It was extremely unclean, they didn’t even provide water, there was no soap in the bathroom, it and a terrible smell, there is music playing late at night which makes it tough to sleep. There are no good dining options in the hotel. Everything looked worn down and not maintained. Would not recommended staying here!

Hello Huma. We offer a fully stocked minibar with water included, for a cost. Our accommodations are prepared with linens, towels, and amenities in the room. Please let the staff know if anything was missing. We do not have a restaurant, but we are just steps to Ocean Drive and many dining options in the area. Thank you for your review.

Unbeknownst to us, our room was over the hotel bar. It was like being next to a bass amplifier all night long. At 1:30 this AM I had to go down to lobby because they wudnt answer the phone & complained. She said she’d ask them to lower the volume. That didn’t help. Also, the bathroom has no door, the shower & toilet in one room. This whole experience was a nightmare.

The location was about the only thing we really liked about this stay. There were blood stains on the bed sheets, the TV seemed to only have one channel - although maybe there are more but the remote buttons didn't seem to work properly, there were barely any outlets in the room, there were no outlets in the bathroom, people smoking blunts outside of our room at night even though there are no smoking signs all over, then to cap it all off, in the very small and compact courtyard area, there were workers doing maintenance with a leaf blower right outside of our room (about 5 feet from our bed) at 7:00 AM. I understand a hotel requires upkeep, but a leaf blower at 7 AM just shows no regard for the comfort of guests. It's South Beach, people are going to be out late and want to sleep past 7 AM on a vacation. When I brought this all up at the front desk upon check out the workers said they were sorry and seemed shocked about what we had experienced, yet that was it. Nothing offered for our troubles. TBH I would love and feel entitled to a refund. There are a number of hotels in the area for the same or less money that are much better quality.

This property need a serious makeover. I didn’t have running hot water for 2 days. To top it off, the receptionist did not return my drivers license upon check in. I didn’t realize until I was at the airport on my way back home. I called the hotel and they confirmed my DL was in fact there. The man who answered the phone said that the hotel could not mail my ID, he said I had to pay for a shipping label and then maybe an employee would do me a favor and take it to the post office!… I said that that was very inconvenient because that was the receptionist mistake.. he answered by saying. “ it’s your fault. You should’ve checked before you walked away”.. that should tell you everything about this place. I was there for 3 nights and not once was I told my DL was at the front desk. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Worked for one night for the price, but honestly probably wouldn’t stay again. “Upgraded” to a suite. Would hate to see what we actually booked. Check in and out was a breeze. Staff was nice. Just kind of felt dirty and dusty

The property itself was nice. As it was decorated in the classic art deco era. The staff was unfriendly, the property was dirty, and there was a lot of sketchy people/activities going on after dark. Cars being broke into, rooms were nice, but not leaned properly.

The building, room, lobby, and bar area were very clean and stylistic. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was the lack of parking— you had to go to a public parking structure 2 blocks away, pay $40 a night for parking, and lug bags because it doesn’t have a loading zone in front of the hotel in order to drop off luggage.
