Very nice Miami Hotel

Posted Jul 7, 2014
The hotel is in a nice location, near the beach and a shopping center. The room was very comfy. Maybe the only downside is the lack of an elevator but it is not a big deal

Not as good as it looks in the photos.

Pros: The bathrooms were all new and well done. The staff of the front desk were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Send the repair guy on a course about good manners. Insulate the floors so guests don't have to listen to guests upstairs using the toilet.
Location: Close to the beach but not bars or restaurants. We did find the Grand Beach Hotel which was great but had to catch a taxi to find anything.
They have tidied this hotel up a lot but it's an old hotel. It has creaky wooden floors so you can hear the people in the rooms upstairs walking around and using their toilet. When we booked we thought we were paying a lot but would be getting a lot but now I suspect we paid too much. It's a three star hotel. The TV, phone and desk lamp didn't work so I told the guy on the front and he sent someone right away. It was all unplugged for some reason and the repair guy got angry with me for not checking before I asked for help. Like I'm suppose to scramble around under the desk on my hands and knees in the dark ! Then he accused me of messing up the TV (like I won't crawl around checking the phone and lights are plugged in but I will pull the cords out of the back of the TV !!!). Turned out the remote just needed new batteries so he stormed off to get new ones.

Lovely hotel close to the beach

The hotel was nice, a short walk from the beach. Although the beach has a lot of seaweed, but it didn't stop us from getting in the water. The room was nice and clean. The staff was helpful. Couldn't have asked for more.

Great hotel.we had a great experience with your hotel.it was a very cozy atmosphere first thing. Natalia at the front desk was so outstanding at making us feel very comfortable.she explained she had only been with u for a short while. We could not even tell cause she was awesome. If course we will definitely return and stay because it was a nice hotel, however it was definitely nice to have that accommodating customer service where we really felt at home. Thanks again to Natalia for making sure everything was good

Very convenient option for a weekend getaway

Posted Jun 9, 2014
If you are looking for a nice and clean room to sleep at night, since you will spend most of your time partying out of doors then this is a perfect option, if you like to enjoy the lodging experience too, then I'd say keep looking.

Not What I Expected...

Posted Jun 6, 2014
Pros: Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and the mall.
Cons: Have enough breakfast food to last until 10am when breakfast ends. Implement noise restrictions after 10/11pm; especially during the week.
Location: Beach, mall, restaurants.
While the staff was seemingly polite, at times they did not seem as helpful as I have typically experienced at other hotels; chains & boutique hotels. I was told prior to booking this trip the hotel had a pool, but they do not. They have access to LA Fitness which has an indoor pool guest of the hotel can access. However, if you come to Miami for fun in the SUN the last thing you want to partake of is an INDOOR pool. Also, the included breakfast was from 6am till 10am but if you were not downstairs by 9/9:15 you could forget about getting much of anything substantial to eat for that morning. Further, the hotel should really include in their advertising that this is a "walk-up" stucture; i.e., no elevator. And stairs are involved just to get to the main floor where the rooms are located. Though, someone will carry your bags up. The walls in this hotel are PAPER thin! Our neighbor (who was obviously foreign you could tell from accent and language spoken on calls) placed extremely LOUD conference calls on SPEAKER PHONE from midnight to 2am on at least two of the four nights we were there. And if that wasn't enough, the one night he did not have a conference call, he made up for it by having one early the next morning; again on his speaker phone! Personally, I'd be okay if I never stayed at this hotel again...

Lovely hotel in a quiet area

Posted May 31, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, comfort, position, value for money.
Cons: There's no much space for breakfast, a few more tables outside would be great.
Location: The hotel is 5 minutes walking from the beach and from the shops. There's a number of restaurants nearby for all tastes and pockets.
I stayed at Daddy O with my husband for our honeymoon. The hotel is in a quiet area, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean and the staff helpful. Definitely recommended.

Location of the hotel is good and nice. the hotel is really closed to CVS, beach, and others stores. However, staffs were not really great.
