Very good could be great....Posted Mar 14, 2014
Great location, awesome pool. Good room and attentive staff throughout, particularly around pool. Dining experience poor on all fronts. Rose Bar lacking appeal. Hotel manager needs to get a grip.

Nice beach small noisy roomsPosted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: The food is a bit pricy but everything we had in the dinning room and beach pool area was very good.
Cons: Windows need to be upgraded, the rooms are to loud.
The beach is nice, the rooms are small and the windows are single pane so the rooms are very noisy. Overall a vary nice clean hotel. The beach staff is exceptionally professional. Fred in particular is an excellent server with a great attitude. Ask for his area if you go to the beach.

Simply the BestPosted Mar 1, 2014
We arrived late after being bumped from our flights in the northeast and having to drive 1,500 miles. Upon seeing that we had an extra person with us, Darin at the front desk upgraded us to a poolside bungalow. The hotel is wonderful. Beautiful pool & beach area, terrific restaurant, and a very accommodating staff. We had a wonderful stay and only wished we had more time before our cruise. Forgot my suit in the room but the staff put it aside for me in lost & found and we were able to retrieve. Close to nice restaurants and shopping....the Delano had a trendy, Caribbean vibe...probably some of the nicest accommodations that we have ever stayed in along with Atlantis in the Bahamas...definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good time on South Beach!

Pool scene is nice. Rooms and service underwhelm.Posted Feb 19, 2014
Pros: Pool and pool staff. Location on beach.
Cons: Room quality. Restaurant service.
The staff at the pool are incredibly attentive and the environment at the pool enjoyable. The restaurant service is slow and they include an 18% tip. The room quality is showing its age. One room has a noisy air conditioner. The next a noisy toilet. The beds are not plushy comfortable as you would expect from a $600/night hotel. WiFi is very slow.

over pricedPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: location and staff.
Cons: lower prices.
Location: walking distance to everything at South Beach.
We knew this was a expensive hotel, it was ridiculous. No complimentary coffee and a "to go" cup in the restaurant for breakfast was $8. Room service was ridiculous, $32 cheeseburger and $22 quesadillas with 20% added gratuity and a $3.50 delivery charge. The bathroom was tiny, you had to shut the door to sit on the toilet. The bed was so soft and lumpy my wife had to get a massage. There were only about 20 chairs at the pool on the "sun side". We were told they were all reserved for the VIP's, every day. All of the staff were very helpful and nice. As my wife said, "it was very chic, European and schwanky". 422 twenty-two dollar quesadillas, +20% added gratuity and $3.50 delivery fee

Classy hotel and private.Posted Feb 16, 2014
Pros: Private for romantic get away!
Cons: Washrooms size and gym location but apparently being in Art Deco area they are not allowed to change anything from its original state.
Location: Stated above
Not a singles hotel, but couples and family mainly and mature crowd, quiet and private. The rooms are relatively small but hotel is located in a great south beach location close to Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road and more. Concierge , William , is quite helpful and pleasant. Gym is in a basement along with kitchen area which made it not appealing to go to! Safety box is about 6-7 feet above ground and inaccessible!

nice hotel on the beachPosted Feb 16, 2014
Miami ...South Beach was an interesting place to visit but I will more than likely not return. I was underwhelmed. It is extremely overpriced!!!! South Beach is.....worn. The art deco style is cool but still the entire place looks worn out. Great weather there in Feb though.
