After making good time on the trip to FL, we arrived a day early. The staff was very helpful and allowed us to check in immediately. The buildings and grounds were well maintained and typical of FL with palm trees and other tropical plants. Geckos and a chicken roamed freely about. The parking area and rooms were secure. Being an extended stay facility, it is kind of a cross between an apartment and a hotel. It has appliances found in most kitchens and is roomy enough to be comfortable. What it also means is no daily room service. The rooms are cleaned once a week. You can go to the lobby to exchange towels, linens, etc or, if you are plush, you can pay extra for more frequent room service. You take out your own trash--just like at home! There are a few take and go items in the lobby for breakfast. Typically apples, oranges, granola bars, muffins and coffee were available to take along as you started your day. More than that--make a hot breakfast in your room or go to a nearby fast food place. There are many in the area. The laundry rooms are clean and user friendly.

Close to Brickell train station so it was convienient for me to travel downtown. I was pleasantly surprised it had a kitchenette in the room. Grab and Go continental breakfast could have had more variety (they did have fruit, muffins, granola bars, oatmeal and coffee/tea). The entrance is a little tricky to find (I walked around the property before finding the entrance (hint: across from the Walgreens entrance). Overall, a no frills hotel that I would stay at again if I were in the area.
