Fabulous hotel in an amazing city!

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The amazing service! It really is a top notch hotel...and it's definitely a place for people to come and be seen. Also loved Chez Bon Bon!
Cons: The prices are a bit high for food/beverages, but it's to be expected at this class of hotel.
Location: There is a lot to do at the hotel itself...but South Beach is only an average $10 taxi ride.
We took advantage of a great deal where the hotel name was hidden. We were a little worried that because of the great deal we got, we would be treated differently. However...to our great and delighted joy...the service was absolutely fantastic right from the start when we met Luis at front desk. We noticed that he had to handle a difficult customer in front us...not only did he do a great job handling the unreasonable customer...he greeted us with sincerity and kindness. We were immediately put at ease and the rest of our stay was amazing as well!

Disappointing great hotel

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: Beatiful buildings and surroundings.
Cons: Sleeping comfort. More soundproofing.
Room got upgraded from ocean view to ocean front which should have made a good experience a great experience. Reason for upgrade was them not having a room with two queen beds as reserved. The pull out bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever tried to sleep on. There were connecting springs and support cables missing which let the mattress fall below the frame in places, and the mattress was so thin the metal support bar felt like you were laying directly on it. Also, took over two hours to get extra pillows in order to try and make it work(minimal help).

Best stay I've ever had at a hotel

Posted Aug 15, 2014
From the moment we pulled into the hotel, you are taken into the Golden Era. The hotel is absolutely breathe taking . The staff could not have been nicer. The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool area was quite "happening". The waitresses were so sweet . The food to my surprise was quite reasonable. Most comfortable bed and linens. Can't wait to go back !!!

I was confirmed 2 queen beds and got ONE king

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: the bed was soft.
Cons: Keep your promises and don't give people what they didn't book.
I paid in full before arriving and reserved a room for my daughter and myself- 2 queen beds for one night. The hotel is massive and loud, very confusing which entrance and which looby one should use. They gave my room to someone and offered me a suite which had many amenities that I did not need, like a kitchen and washer and dryer, and did not have the 2 beds that were promised (it did have an unusable pull out couch that no one could sleep on). There was NO compensation for this mistake (no free parking, only one hour late check-out), parking was ridiculously expensive and valets are slower than slow
