History of previous guests as stacks of hair.

Posted Feb 27, 2015
This hotel should not be represented through Expedia. There is no one there to clean the rooms. All they do is give you new towels and turn the bed sheets on the other side. The very elderly lady who offers keys cannot speak English (or does not want to) so you cannot even explain to her that the floor should be swiped. Everywhere there was hair from I don't know how many previous guests. The room required renovation too. The free parking statement does not mean there is parking. It just means that you can try to find parking around the block somewhere - good luck if you arrive late in the evening. In short - stay away.

Great stay

Posted Feb 26, 2015
Our family of 4 had a very comfortable stay. We had chosen our unit from a selection of 4 rooms we viewed on arrival and all were decorated very nicely and looked really clean. The design of all the rooms are very unique so it has a boutique hotel feel to it. The housekeeper introduced herself and was really nice. All the staff was always available day or night , in person or by phone to assist. She also told us that the there is daily housekeeping on request only. Just like in a hotel, there is a plastic card that says either do not disturb or asks for housekeeping. We chose not to get it but at least there was an option which is more than we have been offered when we rented an apartment from someone. They also provided soap, shampoo, conditioner and a hairdryer. The neighborhood was great, walkable to lots of shops and restaurants.. a Starbucks down the street and 2 incredible malls nearby, Midtown Shops and Bayfront Marketplace, which was a waterfront mall, so awesome! The parking was right on the street in front of the building. It was a money saver since it was free and never a problem to find a spot. We had a great overall stay and thought it was a great value. It was the most economical place we could find in that good of a location.

Pros: location!!!!
Cons: yes! service!
the small apartments hotel was an option: location! apartment design, nice ,small but comfortable,but....The matress was horrible, we couldn't have a good night in a whole week! Was clean but....we just had one day clean towels and sheets! they never made up the room....I clean myself!! We have been told, parking included....we had to look everynight for a place on the block! Sorry....they won't see us again! not a hotel for Expedia to recomend!

Cons: The location of the television set.
Location: Really nice grocery store and resturant nearby.
Really enjoyed my stay; for being downtown the area was really quite and my wife and I got a good night sleep.

Fortuna House Apt - Miami

Posted Feb 8, 2015
Pros: Staff was friendly
Cons: Hotel itself needs to be updated and cleaned.
Location: A few restaurants and a convenience store within close walking distance.
Was not the best hotel I've stayed at by any means. Hotel had mediocre amenities, only mildly clean, and parking was scarce. Staff was friendly.

Wasn't too bad, but parking was atrocious and the lady at the hotel spoke little English. The room itself was decent for a cheap place to stay, and the lady herself was very nice (once we crossed the language barrier). A solid "meh" place to stay.

Près du centre

Posted Jan 29, 2015
