In general very nice hotel except the rooms bathrooms that definitely need renovations!!! Also when you book Bay View you get a tiny view in the corner but facing you is a building blocking all the view!!! It should be called standard room no view..

On another note, we are grateful for the time you had taken to make us aware of shortcomings, which require our team's attention in some hotel areas. Please rest assured those will be brought up and followed up on as needed. In the end, we are happy to note that we are continuously working to update, deep clean and overall maintain and raise the quality of our hotel grounds. Additionally, we hope you would be glad to learn that we are in the process of completing a more expansive guest room renovation, which will definitely address any shortcomings in this area. In the end, we do wish to also note that we do offer both Bay Front and Oceanfront suites, which do provide fully unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay or the Atlantic Ocean and beach respectively. We, thus, very much hope to be given another chance to serve you again in the future. Thank you.

Room was dirty, half things did work, lights out. Tv out, safe locked us out, had to ask for wash clothes every day ,room key issues ever day, at adult pool bar not open. Furniture in lobby all stained, very disappointing for the $$ more like 2.5/ 3 star not 4 by any means!

The grounds of the Grand Beach Hotel was head and shoulders above the surrounding hotels and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms are a bit worn but the beach, pools and service made up for that.

Large, bright & spotless rooms with two bathrooms, friendly and gracious staff, lovely pool area, and the food is delicious! We highly recommend the gazpacho. This hotel has everything you need right on the property. We love the Grand Beach, this is our second time and we'll be back!

To start parking was a problem, with poor service, and expensive. On the day of the checkout, we left a bottle of Champaign inside the mini-fridge in the room, when we called them back after 6 hours the lady at the front desk was no help. We could not retrieve our bottle because they told us they couldn't find it.

It has been unfortunate to hear you felt disappointed with the pricing of add-on services at the hotel. We can assure you that these are standard for the Miami area and as such have been priced compatibly with surrounding properties. In addition, information pertaining to valet parking is available on the expedia site for traveler reference prior to booking and travel. Additionally, please kindly note valet parking is not a mandatory service fee at the hotel, but is optional and at the guest’s choice of whether or not to be utilized. Lastly, information pertaining to it is advised of at time of registering the vehicle at valet and upon check-in as well, when guests are asked to sign the registration card, which includes information pertaining to the valet price. When it comes to your comment pertaining an item, which you believe to have left behind on departure from premises, please kindly note this inquiry has been escalated to the Lost & Found team onsite for follow up at this time. We very much hope this has not affected your decision to choose and stay with us again, as we do feel that our pricing is at a great value given the excellent service, oceanfront hotel location and great leisure facilities, which we have to offer our guests. Being on the beach that is connected to a walking trail was amazing. The room was spacious, my stay was 5 days. For what they charge, not worth it. You couldn’t get a wash cloth and one out of 5 days I received a hand towel. I was even left someone else’s dirty towels hung in my bathroom and my room was left wide open. Bathtub had been spray painted and it was peeling off. Hot tubs didn’t work, pool bathrooms not working. Only one bar open after 5 pm. No one answered the phone of the front desk or house keeping. If you are going to relax this is not the place and if you expect service, look elsewhere. I brought up concerns with concierge and no actions were taken. Lovely location and was beautiful at some point, the web site over sells what reality is.

It is to our deep regret to learn about the less than favorable experience you encountered as our guest. We do wish to once more apologize for any inconvenience you may have been caused as a result. It is our understanding, that you were let down due to the hotel policy concerning early check-in requests. We do wish to take advantage of the opportunity to once more reiterate on the matter. The official check-in hour onsite is 4pm. Early check-in requests onsite are being based solely on hotel room availability at the time of your arrival. Should an early check-in be available for your room type on arrival date our front desk team is more than happy to accommodate and depending on the hour of the early check-in, which a guest is requesting a fee does apply. We do see that our team placed your room on queue for higher priority with our housekeeping team and that we were able to check you in on time with regards to the hotel's officially announced hour of check-in at 4pm. We do apologize if this caused you an inconvenience and took away from your overall experience as our guest. When it comes to your second claim, we have gone ahead and initiated an internal investigation and follow up into it, as we do not appear to have any such records on your main reservation details. We do thank you for your valued feedback and the opportunity it gives us to further improve the product and services we provide to our valued hotel guests. Thank you.

The TV did not work the first day. The air conditioner stopped working the 2nd day. The water in the shower did not go down. The toilet handle stuck and made a noise. The room was near the elevator and I heard the sound of the ringing all night. The blow dryer broke on the 3rd night. Basically, it is not maintained and it is falling apart

The property itself was beautiful. The balcony outlooks the ocean in a calming way. For the price, it needs major updating from the bedrooms to the bathrooms and even the hallways. The sign outside doesn’t even work. And the real reason for the low star review is because they have roaches! Staff is great and nice.

The staff doesn’t clean the rooms completely. The floor was dirty and would make our feet black and pastey. Bathroom always smelled because the don’t use plastic or glass shower curtain liners. Instead it a bed sheet like fabric that holds water and then smells because it doesn’t dry. The cleaning lady refused to give us hand towels. Service was very slow. Not worth anything close to the $600/night we paid.

I had great expectations for this property. The guest room needs attention. The bath tub has rust stains and cracks in it. There was a huge stain on the cushion of the sofa. There wasn’t one day that sufficient towels were left in the room. We called housekeeping daily. It was difficult to get wash cloths, hand towels and bath mats. Very limited tv channels. I believe we could get about 7 channels in English and possibly 5 channels in Spanish. A hotel of this caliber should have many more options. If they can’t offer more,then provide smart tvs. I was amazed that ESPN was available at the bar, but not in our room. The day we checked out we called for the Bell Hop. We waited 40 minutes and no one came. While waiting we called a couple of times to see if someone was coming. No one would answer the phone. We decided to make a few trips and take our luggage down ourselves. As we approached the lobby the Bell Hop was just standing around not doing anything. He claimed he didn’t get the notification. I cannot refer this hotel to anyone in the future. The experience was not enjoyable.

Exc accommodations . Rooms were updated and renovated nicely . However they forgot to upgrade the bathrooms especially the bathtubs

The place was overrun with unruly children who couldn’t eat the hotel for and occupied the entire lobby with messy takeout. The rooms were so dirty that you couldn’t walk barefoot on the floor. Their systems were all messed up and didn’t allow us to charge things to our room and then held our car hostage. The staff on the beach were lovely though. The only bright spot of this place.

I booked this place by ACCIDENT and when I called them to let them know it was accident they said they marked it as a no show because I didn’t show up lol… obviously I didn’t show up because I didn’t mean to BOOK THIS PLACE! They are so money hungry they charged me the full fee even though I explained I didn’t mean to book it and that’s why. I didn’t SHOW UP! Pathetic.

We struggled to find someone who speaks English. Additionally, they promised to place something that says "Happy Birthday" in my room, but they didn't. They assured us it would be set up upon our arrival, but it never happened. The bathroom faucets are falling apart, and the balcony was very dirty.
