Simply Awful!Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: nothing... I wouldn't want to give anyone the impression to stay here. The pool isn't bad, but what good is that when the room is disgusting.
Cons: Everything.. especially the STRONG pesticide odor and visible black mildew in the bath tubs. The toilet that leaks whenever flushed was also gross.
Location: South Beach is great but stay somewhere else!
mold (visible black mildew) in the shower, HORRIBLE STRONG odor of pesticides (almost unbearable), toilet Leaks water onto the floor whenever you flush it, hot water doesn't work, beds are extremely uncomfortable, needs updates. My wife and I are far from picky.. We always happily stay in cheap hotels especially in Miami where you would think the location is enough to satisfy but this place was beyond awful. DON'T STAY HERE!

flash backPosted May 8, 2014
Pros: staff, location, clean
Cons: update the furniture
Staff was good and location was in a very good spot close to the bars but not to close to be super loud. The room was very out dated and the carpet was dirty but the beds and bathroom were very clean. If your into taking a flash back to scarface days it would be perfect. Room service came in and did a great job. Parking was bad its $20 a day and your not guaranteed your spot if you leave. There is a parking garage on the same bock that charges $16 a day. Pool was out back and its very dark at night so no night swimming and there is also no bar in the hotel.

It's a substandard hotel. Location is amazing. The rest everything sucks. Stay here if you only care about location and not really going to spend so much time in room. One can stay there, but definitely not a luxurious stay.

Great localePosted May 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
Location is perfect, one block off ocean drive, deco bike rack across the street, two blocks from eespanola way! Oh, and one block from the nearest Starbucks. The price is right as it's 1/3 the cost the surroundings hotels. Don't expect amazing rooms, but who hangs out in the room anyway? You're in Miami, get outside.

They Just need to upgrade their beds and TV. Other then that the toilette does not have a window what so ever . you need some types of ventilation in there.

Nice hotel, close to the beach, comfortable bedPosted May 2, 2014
It was wonderful can't wait to go back next year! It was nice. The beach was beautiful! I got an allergic reaction but I didn't let that ruin my stay! I should have stated longer.

Rooms are a hit-or-miss, basically...Posted May 1, 2014
Pros: VERY GOOD LOCATION - Close to the Beach, Bars, Shops, Restaurants, etc... Needed no rental car, as most of what you need is within the area!!
Cons: The Hotel needs a long awaited refurbish/re-modeling. Hopefully the rates WILL NOT go SKY-HIGH.
Location: VISIT OCEAN DRIVE FOR THE BEACH, WASHINGTON AVE, FAIRLY PRICE FOOD AND ALCOHOL. CLUBS ON WASH. AVE. CAREFUL WITH BILL PR WHEN EATING OUT ON OCEAN DR
Stayed at this hotel on several different occasions and if you are fortunate you get a room with somewhat clean carpeting and decent bedding. Rooms are dated and furnishings are old (but were in decent condition), but rooms are not too bad if you get a good one.?? My room, this time, was not bad, beds were comfortable enough and sheets and comforters were seemingly clean. Carpeting in some of the rooms can be quite filthy, but again, rooms are a hit-or-miss. So, if you get a room you don't like, HOPEFULLY you can ask to see another, until you are satisfied. Also decent size rooms - had a double - though I think more then two people in the room would be a bit much, although it's for 4 occupants - I had the standard double beds - It had adequate space for me and was comfortable enough given the price and EXCELLENT LOCATION!!! Cleaning crew/housekeepers were nice, although I did not require much from them, but extra towels which they supplied gladly with not problems - they were nice!! And, Check-in/Check-out was smooth, and FRIENDLY!! HOTEL WILL BE CLOSING SOON FOR SOME LONG AWAITED REMODELING - I WAS TOLD BY DESK CLERK.... HOPEFULLY THE PRICE STAYS REASONABLE WHEN IT'S DONE - HOPEFULLY!! ??
