You get what you pay for

It was the second time staying in this hotel. First wasn't too bad. We stayed again due to cost, $99, and location. requested a refridgerator and did not get one. Room had an odor. Not enough parking for all guests. After returning from excursions around 10 pm. I was astounded to find no spaces available. Parked at front door to inquire about my options. I was told I needed to park in the grass on other side of hedges. The parking area is very dark. I felt unsafe. I would not recommend to others. Next time I will spend the money for other accommodations.

house keeping hates to clean your room

We stayed for a week and after 1 day the housekeeping would make us wait all day for our room to be cleaned and fresh towels. Then we found bugs(dozens of tiny baby spiders) they moved us rooms and when they did housekeeping complained to the management that they had to clean our room when they hadn't cleaned it for a whole day before and the manager came to my new room to say his "poor housekeeping" had to clean our room and he wanted to make sure we weren't making the new room dirty! The only mess we left was dirty towels and the tiny trash cans were full of trash and the floor had to be vaccumed. After I felt like a little kid being monitored by the housekeeping and management.

We checked in very late and the staff was extremely helpful. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was yummy.

Trip to move son to Miami.

Pros: .Great breakfast, close to all the Dadeland dining and shopping.
Cons: Signage directioning to hotel could be better. Hotel is sort of tucked in between a couple of malls.
Reserved last minute via Expedia and got a great rate. Everyone was very friendly. Room was very roomy and clean.

Customer service was a deal breaker

Here is what I liked: -clean facility -decent breakfast -proximity to airport Here is what I disliked: -the most important factor for me was poor customer service or rather "pretend customer service" from shuttle drivers and front desk. Male at front desk that's always there has poor English (as does most of the staff). While making a reservation and then on site, every time I called with a question I would have to repeat myself and often I don't think he understood me. I could never get a clear answer to my questions about transportation, drive distances, accommodations, etc. and sometimes the employees would contradict themselves, depending on who you talk to. When I called from the airport asking for a pick up they couldn't understand the name of my air line (Frontier) and there was a lot of confusion as to where they should be picking me up. Driver of the shuttle that I used 4 times was very rude and argumentative. One morning my husband went down to tell him I'm running 5 minutes late, he said if I'm not right on time he is literally leaving. There was no one else using the shuttle except for us that morning. I think the lack of clarity in direction from the staff stemmed from their weak English. I thought they they did not try to be understanding or honestly compassionate in any situation based on their tone and body language. This is why I would not recommend this hotel. -very thin walls-if you have a noisy neighbor, you will hear them and their TV

Excellent customer service!

Staff always willing to help, hotel is clean, even the bathrooms. Bedding is good, And the area is quiet and well located, found out this hotel is a hidden gem, customer service au par with hotels thr charge twice as much. Just one thing be sure to turn in early, parking lot is always full after 9 pm

They took me everywhere I needed to go!

I was in Miami from Ecuador for a medical visit. I needed to be picked up and dropped off at the airport. Taken to my 2 doctor appointments. I wanted to get some shopping done at a supermarket and go to a mall. All in one day. The staff made every arrangements to accommodate my transportation needs and even use their personal car to pick me up one time. I have to go to Miami every 3 months and this will be the hotel I stay at each trip.
