Deceiving and Disappointing Staff

I reserved a suite (not a standard room) from Wednesday thru Monday (3/19 - 3/24) – for 5 days. Since my fiancée and I took a red-eye flight on Wednesday evening from California, I called to let the hotel know that I will not be checking in on Wednesday but first thing on Thursday morning instead, when we arrive after 7:00am. After checking in, I entered the room I was given and realized I was in a standard room, which was very small. I asked to be moved to the suite that I paid for in advance. One hour later, I was given a new room key to a handicapped suite and was told this room is exactly the same as a regular suite. I verified that by asking to look at a regular suite and of course they were not exactly alike (a second dresser, a TV in the living space, closet and kitchenette are not in the handicap suite). Once again, I asked to be moved to the suite that I paid for in advance. 2 hours later, I was in a 3rd room where I should have been in the first place when I arrived. The effort made to deceive me from getting the room I reserved and paid for in advance was not necessary. This experience was very disappointing. No one apologized for my inconvenience and I would never return to this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Nice, clean, hotel with friendly service

The reception staff went out of their way to help make arrangements to get to and from the airport and to various other places we needed to be. Very pleasant and accommodating! Clean, reasonably priced and nice to be somewhat away from the big rush & crowds.

Clean and Convenient Hotel

Pros: Cleaness and warmth of the staff
Cons: The breakfast
Location: Good location, close proximity to food and banks etc
The wait for the shuttle at the airport was a bit long, the hotel staff is very warm, helpful and friendly. The room was better than expected. The breakfast was a lil disappointing, fruits should be added to the menu. Other than that I would recommend Holiday Inn Express for short stays.

Pros: computer area to print off boarding passes, very handy
Cons: A/C units were way to loud. Sleeping with them on was not even an option
I would have to say that my overall stay was ok. The one thing that I hated was the air conditioner, it was SO LOUD! so when i left to go to dinner i would turn my A/C as cold as i could get it and when i came back to go to bed i would turn it off. It also wasnt extremely hot while i was in Miami, probably around 75ish, so turning the A/C off was an option. other people that stayed in the hotel who were in my group said their A/C was loud also. Also one day after the conference I came into my room to drinks that were not even mine on the counter, i dont know who they were, i would assume housekeeping. but i just left it alone for them to find later. Nothing major, overall it was an ok stay.

Nice breakfast, but the room is too small

I would recommend this hotel mainly because of its nice location to the airport and nice breakfast (compared to other hotels in Miami). But the room is too small. Of course, that does not matter if you are staying for a day or two only.
