The hotel was close to the university.

Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, free breakfast, close to university.
Cons: Overall, we were pleased with all aspects of our stay.
Location: Close to the university, good restaurants
We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly. Free breakfast. Nice pool area.

Good location

Close to coco walk and key biscayne beaches. Room decent. carpet cleaning noisy outside room in hallway. Chemicals used smelled horrible and took long time to dry. Restaurant too crowded for breakfast so had to go elsewhere

While I’m glad you found our location to be convenient, I am sorry to hear that our hallway carpet cleaning did disturb your stay, and that you found our breakfast too crowded. Unfortunately, we do deep clean our corridor carpets once every three months. This is scheduled in the middle of the day so as to minimize any disruption it may cause our guests. Great location & EXCELLENT staff!

We saw UM & stayed for 4 day's. The hotel is right across the st from the school. Jenny & the rest of the staff couldn't do enough for us. The room & bathroom were spacious. The pool area is great The food was GREAT! restaurant quality & reasonably priced. We will 100% be back!

not that bad!

Pros: staff was great.
Cons: upgrade amenities.
Location: too many things around to see all in one week!
Everything was okay except an extremely noisy refrigerator in the room!

Very dated hotel with lipstick

Pros: Location is very convenient.Beds are very comfortable.
Cons: This hotel needs major renovation in HVAC, plumbing and noise reduction/isolation.
This is a very noisy hotel. Sound comfort was by far the worst. If your room is close proximity to the elevators, then it's guaranteed - you can't sleep. The elevators are extremely noisy and the rooms doors don;t have any sound isolation. I would not recommend to prepay this hotel as you's want to leave after the first night. Even if your room far away from the elevators, there still two major problems: one - any noise/sound in the hallway sounds like it is inside your room and second - the conditioner. The hotel does not have central air and each room has the cheap"in wall" air conditioner unit. The units are very old and very noisy. You will have to choose either to sleep or to cool the air. The only nice thing i have to give to the hotel is bed. The beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms ( very small size) have one sink and granite tops. If you must stay at this hotel, make sure that you are as far from (heavily, all night used) two elevators and as far as possible from traffic.

After reading your comments, our management team and I decided look into the various noise issues you mention – elevator, air conditioner, and hallway noise. While we did not find the elevator noise or hallway noise to be excessive or out of the ordinary, we did find some air conditioning units to be a bit noisier than we would like. In response to this, we have just purchased some new units to replace the older, noisier ones we found. We will continue to monitor these three areas to make sure our guests aren’t inconvenienced further. I would ask you to please contact me directly to know the specific room you were in to inspect and monitor that room with greater vigilance. Once again, thank you for your feedback. This allows us to continue to improve our hotel for all of our guests. We hope you will give us another chance to service you again in the future. The Central loaction

Pros: The central location
General pleasant besides the bad experience with a centipede in the bathroom by a bathroom stop at 4.30 am in the morning and a security officer which knocked on our door round 11.00 pm to deliver a baby crip which was not for us.

clean, friendly, helpful

Pros: Location, friendly, clean
Cons: Parking. The Holiday Inn rents conference rooms to med students. Not enough room for guests and students in parking lot.
Location: Shopping and dining at Sunset. Starbucks close. Short distance to Miami.
I was placed in a King Bed room with a clogged drain in shower. They politely moved me upon my request. I was placed in a wonderful room that met all my expectations and more.
