had problem with air. but they switch us to an other room, staff was always nice, they are renovating. great location, we will be back next year.

“Is this Hialeah or Havana?”

I knew there was a large spanish presence in Miami, but this hotel really illustrates that point. From the really loud music in the nightclub to the very helpful staff, you know you're in Miami. It was a little far from the area I usually like to frequent (fort lauderdale, boca), but the hotel itself is very well kept and the staff goes out of their way to ensure a good stay. I wouldn't stay again, but that's only because the location doesn't really work for me. Other than that, the hotel itself was a homerun. Highly recommended. They deserve an extra 1/2 star. And for you single gents, the nightclub attracts some very pretty chicas.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! This is my second time there and I am very happy with my choice. The location is perfect for shopping at Westland Mall.

“long shuttle ride”

Hotel was nice. Pool, bar and restaurant were very pretty. But it's a LONG (30 min?) ride from the airport. We used the hotel shuttle, for which there was confusion. The confirmation said that we'd get an email with info for arranging the shuttle, which was nothing more than calling the hotel. I called, and they said we should just phone once we had our luggage. When I did that, they said the shuttle would be there in an hour and a half! So many other shuttles went past during that time and we were tempted to change hotels. But this one also took us to the cruise boat for a reasonable fee (because others also signed up), so it worked out in the end. Still, an annoyance that we weren't told up front what the shuttle schedule was.

“Perfect for the weekend”

Went to Miami for a concert, the only problem we had was our cards kept getting deactivated. Other than that, it was perfect for the weekend.

nice hotel, polite staff, good breakfast included, the swimming pool is clean and peaceful
