“Could have been a great choice but for the smell”
Interesting place. The hotel was clearly something else long ago and renovated into a Hyatt Place. Exceptionally well appointed, like other Hyatt Places, with lots of room, huge couch and monster tv. Decent desk, good bed. Some details overlooked, such as old, rusty bath tissue holders and other small stuff they didn't replace. But mostly...... what the heck was that awful smell in the room? It required me to open the window and door to air out the room until bedtime. Smelled like an overload of chemicals designed to mask a moldy smell, sort of like Lysol sweetened with cheap perfume. It was strongest in the room but you could smell it in the hallways too. That was the deal-killer and any staff who walked ion that room should have ordered a carpet cleaning or something to try and clear the air.
Great staff, helpful and courteous. Funky little check-in desk that doubles as the snack bar. Good snacks but a minimal selection of those and sundries. Definitely designed for overnight stays sorta near the airport, not a place to stay for vacation. Great wifi. Rush hour traffic at this area is awful so if you have to be someplace at that time leave an hour earlier than expected
