Hotel was clean and comfortable. Parking was expensive at $35 per day, so I used the parking lot next store. The valet told me the parking lot was $19 a day, when it was really $5.

Nice hotel, in convenient location.Posted Nov 7, 2014
Pros: Great location. Friendly staff. Good food!
Cons: The rooms are a bit outdated, especially the bathrooms. They don't really fit the first impression you get when entering the lobby.
Location: Bayside Market was just a 10 minute walk away, or a couple minute trolley ride.
The hotel was great, overall. It is a little older and could use some updates, but was clean and comfortable. We had lunch in the restaurant there, and it was delicious and affordable. Hotel staff was very friendly and made us feel at home. Location was good for us - close to port, and just walking distance from the Bayside Market. The area is more outdated, overall, but has pleasant views. Just a fair warning, the homeless are very much prevalent in this area. They were not pushy, nor did they make us feel uncomfortable; however, if it's not something you are accustomed to, it may be a bit of an eye opener.

Location good, not so great for runningPosted Nov 5, 2014
Pros: Free wifi area with chairs and tables in the lobby where one can work for couple of hours.
Cons: Halls at the floors - mostly fresh painting would help.
The location worked very well for me, can not complain. The only downside was that I wanted to for outside run and could not - adjacent passage along the canal was closed on both sides leaving only few hundred meters open for running which was not good. Hotel itself would deserve some upgrade (painings the most), but overall it was just fine.

Location, Location, Location.Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: All was great & well worth the price!
Location: Great variety of public and private transportation. Walking distance to Miami Downtown, the Arena & Bayside. Closed to Miami Beach and Coconut Grove.
We had a beautiful view of the Miami River and the Miami Circle archaeological site, plus, we were closed to all the happenings around the Miami area. We even decided to leave our car at a train station in Palm Beach Co. and take the trains all the way to the Hyatt. The Metro-mover brings you right inside the hotel, and we had plenty of transportation choices, including a water taxi to South Beach. Great carefree experience.

Very dirty!!Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: The lobby was pretty.
Cons: Pretty much everything!!
The hotel lobby was gorgeous but that was about it! Our room was very dirty and dusty. There were mounds of dust on all of the drapes. The plumbing is very very old and needs some remodeling. Overall we were very dissatisfied.
