One night prior cruise

Posted Feb 28, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Needs some updates, bathroom was clean, but very outdated.
Location: Short walk to the Marketplace. Live music, Cuban food and nice drinks there.
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency one night prior our cruise. The room was nice overlooking the river. There was a little bit noise, but not much to bother us. The hotel was very nice to give us a free upgrade for the river view. They gave us free Wi-Fi in a room, nice gesture on their part! Anyway, I would go back to stay there, very short ride to the port next day!

Horrible hotel

Horrible. We had to request a change due to the suffocating cigarette smell. To make matters worse, they charged me $75 for early check-in!!!

Downtown MIAmi

Pros: The location was close to everything
Old smelly room. The carpets were dirty and stained. The walls were dirty and paint was coming out. The windows seemed like they took they tint out and was old blurry. There was no fridge in the room

Hyatt Regency Miami

Carpet soiled and lumpy. The parking garage is really far from the hotel. One of elevators was slow and smelled like exhaust fumes.

Too short to know

Posted Feb 15, 2014
Pros: Staff and proximity to new Miami area.
Cons: It is time to update, massive remodel
Location: Nice walking distance or very short cab ride to almost anything you want to do.
Great staff. Old hotel. It is time to upgrade. Dining was okay. Food was more than acceptable. The dining staff needs more training. Our room was pleasantly confortable except for the city noise. Difficult to sleep Saturday night. Sunday night was much quieter. Love the location. Close. To all the new activity in old Miami. Easy on and off the interstate. Close to the ports and lots of restaurants.

Great location but rooms need upgrading

Posted Feb 11, 2014
Pros: If you can tolerate the fact that the entrance to I-95 is adjacent to the hotel, this is a good location with some great stuff nearby....
Cons: As stated before, the rooms need an upgrade.....bigtime
Location: there is a great Brazilian steakhouse nearby and La Loggia Italian restaurant across from the courthouse is outstanding...Also, Emily's for breakfast
Positives: good restaurants and shops nearby, right off I-95 and US-1, hotel lobby and staff were very good, concierge was very helpful Negatives: hotel rooms are out of date, $350 per night gets you a $60 room in 1985
