Expensive

Posted Mar 3, 2015
I believe this room was way to pricey for that the actual room was worth. My bathroom needed to be updated (the fixtures in the shower where loose so everytime I showered I thought it was going to break when I pulled on it to turn the water on) the AC wasn't blowing well it was that cool in the room, my tv was located on a short counter making it difficult to watch tv w/o being uncomfortable and my refrigerator was off so I had to wait for it to cool down before putting food. I have had better rooms in Miami for much less. I would recommend this hotel isn't worth the money

Great location

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Bathrooms needs upgrade, mole in the bathroom.
Location: Close to restaurants. Nice walk along the bay to Bayside Market. Metro rail is close and is free.
Great location, nice walk to restaurants and Bayside market. Needs a tad of upgrades, like bathrooms. Comfortable rooms. Clean.

This hotel is in great need of refresh. The staff was ok...effectively no valet service at 10pm...but my stay was too abbreviated to make a significant assessment. I would not pay the rates asked for this quality with much nicer facilities within walking distance.

siamo scappati

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Cons: l'hotel andrebbe interamente rimodernato. è cadente in ogni parte.
Location: è nella zona finanziara della città, quindi non c'è assolutamente nulla intorno. 30 minuti (e 25 dollari) da miami beach o coral gables.
dopo aver visitato 3 stanze dell'hotel siamo dovuti scappare. sporche, trascurate, cadenti. l'hotel è vecchio e malandato.

It wass close to the summit venue which was good. Staff was nice. Hotel needs a renovation badly. Bathrooms as part of the room with carpet? It's stuck in the very bad 70s and doesn't even provide a mini bar. Awful design everywhere

Where's the WIFI?

Posted Feb 26, 2015
Cons: BETTER WIFI IN THE ROOMS!!!!!!
Hotel was fine, though the sound from cars crossing the bridge outside was constant. However, as a business traveler, I was VERY disappointed in the quality of the WiFi in my room. I had to go to the lobby to get work done. Otherwise, clean, comfortable, and the staff was very nice.

Very disappointed for the price.

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: Allowed a late check out. The lobby décor was very comfortable with ample sitting areas and soothing water falls.
While the staff is very attentive, professional and friendly I was disappointed in my room. The Expedia photo shows all balcony rooms. There is a balcony for each room but they are sealed shut- with no outside access. My view was not of the city or the bay as described but of the huge ugly convention center roof top and parking deck. The mattress in my room was well worn out and dipped from age. It also states a short walk: 5 blocks to the Bayside Shopping area...it is through a very busy part of town and I did not feel safe walking to and from by myself. It was difficult to get a taxi from Bayside back to my hotel because of the short ride...... so I tipped an extra $5.00 so he would take me! Would not stay here for my next cruise out of Miami. I paid $300.00 for the night. I have stayed at better hotels with, views, with balcony and close to accommodations for less.
