Pros: The concierge....Eduardo, and Ilana are both excellent...SO HELPFUL....

The location of the hotel is GREAT, the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. We had a view of Biscayne Bay which was wonderful. It is within an easy drive to Miami Beach and to Key Largo for snorkeling. We hope to get back there soon.

Good hotel in Downtown Miami.

Location: Great location for pre or post cruise. Budget eats and high-end eats all within 5 minute walk. Catch the S or C bus to South Beach for $2.25.
Stayed here twice in the last two weeks, before and after a cruise. Both times I arrived at midday and the room was ready.I had booked a king with sofa bed, but was offered a double room if I wanted it, which I chose. The first stay was for two nights in a city view room. The room was very big, with two large beds and a large bathroom. The pool area on the 5th floor is lovely, with a relaxation area and a jogging track that I have not seen advertised anywhere. I was jogging alone and never saw anyone else using it, but it is lovely even for an evening stroll. When I checked out, I asked for a city view for my next stay as the view was so beautiful. When I returned a week later, I was given another city -view room with a partial view of the water- amazing view again. The staff were all very attentive. The lobby is stunning and very inviting. If you are not staying here, you have to go to see the outside of the hotel at night(The dancers on the wall is a very clever idea) and go to see the lobby, stopping to take a photo of the car parked outside. They have one of their for-rent cars on display- I posed with some of the flashier ones and will go back to rent one next time I am in Miami! There are wonderful ballrooms and function rooms there too. We did not eat in the hotel, but the Bayside Mall is a 5 minute walk away. We saw a dolphin in the bay on the way. Overall a great hotel and we will be back.

Very nice hotel easy walk to waterfront.

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: The rate, quality and cleanliness of room, location, service
Cons: Access to hotel.
Location: Walk the waterfront and visit shops and restaurants. Visit beaches on Key Biscayne.
Was surprised at how good the hotel was for the rate - thanks Expedia. Didn't try any of the hotel restaurants since so many other opportunities an easy walk away on the waterfront. Bar was loud and busy, but they have tables with good service out in the lobby so you can sit and talk comfortably. Note that Google does not do a good job when your are in the area of the hotel. This made actually getting to the hotel difficult because of Google errors, one-way streets, and the fact that the streets are very busy at night. It's easy to get stuck going the wrong way in a traffic jam. Bill Baggs Cape Florida state park at end of Key Biscayne is only about 1/2 hour away and has excellent beaches.
