Nice hotel. Close to a great outdoor mall.

Loved our stay here. Venture out to the Bayside outdoor mall. It has everything. Wish we knew it was there before we ate an expensive meal in the hotel.

Nice hotel but w/o free internet

Posted Nov 25, 2014
It is almost unbelievable but true: internet access charged $11 per 24 hours. Even Days Inn is free. How come a 4 star hotel charge its guests for internet access ?

An elegant hotel reasonably priced

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: The view, the staff attitude, and the proximity to lively entertainment.
Cons: CNBC on television.
Location: This is THE hotel to book prior to cruise ship embarkation the following day.
The check in process is nicely done. Our room had a beautiful view of the bay and our cruise ship. All areas were spotless. The selection of in hotel stores was fine.

NIce but not that nice

Posted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: Location, pillows and view
Cons: Clean carpets
Got to room and it was not cleaned thorough. Went to staff and they moved us to a nicer room. Pillows were excellent! Great bathroom and very large towels. Great location.

Nice hotel, obnoxiously hip

Posted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: Rooms, Toro-Toro restaurant. Central Downtown location
Cons: Maybe a cheaper restaurant?
Location: American Airlines Arena, downtown.
Needed a place to stay in Miami for the recent NASCAR race in Homestead. Wanted a place not too far from the track but downtown with enough stuff to do and explore for my wife to check out while I was at the track. It's a high-end place with a high-ish end price, parking 39 a day, restaurant Toro-Toro casual high-end but very convenient and with good food. The lobby area is very club-ish, with club music going all evening. Luckily not affecting the rooms in any way. I'm not so old that it bothers me, but I could see how it could bother some.

Great location

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Staff was very accommodating and assisted in getting an earlier check in time (we arrived in the a.m. from a Cruise).

Excellent Location & Service

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Popular (busy) downtown hotel combining outstanding customer service with generously proportioned rooms. Ours had a wonderful bay view. Music from Bar DJ could be considered intrusive to conversation, (loud) depending where you sit

Great location, beautiful view

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: Location is very convenient to visit Banks and offices. The view of the bay is gorgeous.
Cons: The complimentary Internet service is dreadful
Location: Bayside shopping center is very nice
Everything went smooth. The rooms are lovely, the view is great and the staff is friendly. The only problem was the very poor complimentary internet service.

Great business and leisure location.

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: Location, service, room cleanliness.
Cons: More sound insulation.
Location: Next to the AA Arena, Bayside, Performing Arts Center, Brickell and Mary Brickell Village, Downtown, South Beach only 5min away.
I stay repeatedly in this hotel. It is a landmark strategically located. With fully renovated rooms, this hotel consistently offers good service. Great for business next to Downtown and Brickell where all banks are. Also easy access to highways, beautiful views of the bay and port. The only con is that occasionally the nightclubs at Bayside could be a little noisy.
