Big Customer Service Dissapointment

Pros: Not much. Airplane and street noise was very annoying.
Cons: Seems a little dated for a "luxury" hotel. Desk clerks need some customer service training and more attention to detail.
Waited over an hour for a "free" airport shuttle that never came. We called the hotel twice and received conflicting instructions as to how to meet the shuttle. Finally had to pay for two taxis for our party of six. Desk clerk assigned us a queen room for two adults and two teens. Other room was on ground level next to the street and parking lot with street noise preventing a good nights sleep. Desk clerks overall attitude was very poor. Customer service training is badly overdue.

Hotel was beautiful...

Upon pulling up the Concierge greeted me and my best friend by name. That was a nice touch. The room and bathroom was clean upon our arrival. The cleaning lady was very kind and thorough each day. We were on the 4th floor. It was kind of loud...doors were slamming CONSTANTLY in the earlier morning hours. I am a very light sleeper so this disrupted my sleep every single morning. On one day the fire alarm went off for about 45 min...it was extremely loud and caused us to have to leave the hotel for an early dinner. Overall our stay was pleasant. The pool was nice and the staff was amazing. I would stay again but maybe on a more quiet floor.

Pros: Convenient for airport and cruise terminal

Location: Good selection of restaurants catering for a range of tasted
Second time in two years we have stayed here and will do so again if we take another cruise from Fort Luderdale

Pros: close to hotel; free airport shuttle; nice robe in room
Cons: need an early 4 a.m. shuttle. There were at least 10 people needing taxis that early in the am, and having the shuttle start earlier would b good;
Nice, very helpful waiters in the restaurant. Free shuttle was a plus. Helpful curbside staff who helped secure my luggage until my room was ready. The cruise buses were not very respectful of other cars entering the hotel front. They should have been instructed to move over to the curb so more room was allowed for others.

Nice hotel well located shopping, restaurants, etc

Pros: Location, easy and good service provided
Cons: Someone to help with bagage
Location: Close to Dolphin mall, airport, restaurants, shopping, super market, gas station,
The hotel location is easy to reach specially from the airport; quikcly check in; good breakfast. Very nice room service. A improvement suggestion if I can is to have someone to help the guests with their bagage. The hotel has good restaurants around and good restaurant srvice as well.

Intercontinental at Doral Miami

Cons: Modernisation needed
Location: Golf at The Blue Monster was great
Hotel did not live up to the images shown at time of booking which idyllic. Hotel was ok but not to the standard perceived or shown on the site.

Esperaba más del hotel- decepcionante

Pros: limpieza de las habitaciones y los concierge.
Cons: Mantenimiento y escuchar a los clients cuando se quejan.
Location: Dolphin mall está cerca , pero major tomar otro hotel con major calidad y localizado mas cerca de Buenos restaurants, supermercados, farmacias, etc.
Siendo Intercontinental, esperaba una fran torre con todos los servicios. Hotel tiene apenas 6 pisos. Experiencie fatal porque me tuvieron como 6 horas en una habitacion donde el aire acondicionado no funcionaba, diciéndome que el sisterma era lento... dicho por el gerente de mantenimiento! Al final exigí que me mostraran otras dos habitaciones y, efectivamente, las unidades enfriaron rapidísimo hasta 16 grados centigrados, vs. 22 grados en la otra habitacion. El edificio se está remodelando, no está abierto el restaurant, solo tiene una fuente de soda donde sirven todas las comidas.
