In the heart of down town.

Pros: Location is good. South beach hotels are to noisy. Here it is quiet to get some sleep. And 5 min from sobe
Cons: Full remodel of rooms. Thermostat for each room. It was cold in mine. Had to block Ac vent with a pillow.
Location: Everything is close to the hotel.
The hotel is very old but serves its purpose if ur in Miami for the night life. Rooms are fairly clean. Staff was excellent. 5 min taxi ride to south beach. Parking is 1 block away. Free after midnight. It's not a hotel if you want to spend with ur wife for a honeymoon. But for a bed to sleep on. It serves its purpose. Very cheap for 4 nights. It's a very old hotel. I will say that.

Nasty, disgusting, hostel.
Posted Jan 31, 2013
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Everything was dirty
Location: Location was pretty scary.
It was disgusting we didn't even stay the night. A complete nightmare straight out of the movie Hostel. Paint peeling of the walls, to the lights flickering, we didn't even make it passed the lobby, the smell of the place was nauseating, disgusting place!

Pros: It was close to American Airlines arena
Cons: Entire room size was about 8x10. No cold water. Mold in the bathroom. Door wouldn't shut. You can't even look out the windows!
The staff was friendly and the location was nice. Every other thing about the hotel was terrible.

Pros: the staff who were friendly
Cons: not having a view of the sea
Location: close to the ocean located behind other hotels.
Arriving in America for the first time the staff at the hotel were lovely and friendly. It was comfortable and they were great for helping with my shuttle to the nkotb cruise.

Run far and fast

Pros: The transportation to the pier.
Cons: room and bathroom.
Location: close to 7-11. and reasonably priced stores for last minute items.
I was disappointed when I saw the room. The doorknob was barely hanging on the door and almost came off in my hand when I closed the door. The bathroom was unreasonably small and the shower had mildew in ths cracks. The shower was not inviting to use. The window was very old and the wood was wear worn, had a gap at the botttom and was unsightly. There was a continous noise droning all night long outside tthe window that made sleeping very difficult. The internet access was poor and could only be received while standing up in one place in the room. I would not stay here again. This place needs remodeling and upkeep badly .

Welcome to the Bates Motel!
Posted Jan 21, 2013
Pros: The only positive about this hotel was the clean lobby.
Cons: Everything!
Location: It was located in an area that you could walk to shopping and restuarants.
We had two rooms and both of them were absolutely revolting! It reminded me of a room at the Bate's Motel or one of those dives from the movies. There was mold in the bathroom, which was the size of a closet. The air conditioner was a window one which barely fit the window and never did get cool. The door to our room had to be locked in order to stay closed. The furniture looked like it was purchased from a garage sale in the late 50's.The elevator had a charm all it's own...It has an operator to take us up or down. The young man that operated it was very friendly. I usually use Expedia and have been very satisfied. I was embarrased that Expedia would offer this hotel on their site. Obviously, the picture they submitted to Expedia was the only room that looked like the picture.

Awful hotel
Posted Jan 11, 2013
Cons: No hot water
Location: Downtown miami
The hotel was tiny rooms that barely had cable. We couldn't shower because there was no hot water. It was very loud and had people running around all hours of the night. Definitely don't go there with kids

We all got sick...!!!
Posted Jan 10, 2013
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: Horrible
I felt like I got tricked. This place shouldn't even be called a "Hotel". When we walked in the "Hotel", we were surprised at the outside. It was worn down and very unsanitary. Once we saw the room, it looked like we were prisoners of a serial killer movie. My family ended up all getting sick very badly. Please, do not go to this place. It will ruin your trip.
