Pros: Close ti the Beach.
Cons: The rooms are HOT b/c Hotel controls AIR.
I would recommend this hotel to someone with NO KIDS! The Parking is $1 Per Hour. If you can find a parking near the hotel. There is a parking lot 2 Blocks away which is also $1/Hr . The hotel Has no a/c that you can control in the room. The ac is controlled by the hotel. Needless to say our room was so HOT we slept with the hotel door open the whole stay. The Fridge was holding on by its last thread. Not cold at all.. Beach access a block away. ALSO NO SWIMMING POOL!!!! They also hold $50 on your Credit Card untill you check out!! I personally will NEVER STAY AGAIN!

Disgusting/ Filthy

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: NOTHING
Cons: It needs more maintenance
Location: Beach is near and there is shops around
Never thought I would have such a horrible experience in Miami, I've stayed at motels that've been in better conditions. Bathroom seemed like they've never been cleaned, and overall the hotel is just disgusting.

Get what you pay for

Any discount hotel in South Beach is going to be a little disappointing, but this one was a pleasant surprise. An old hotel than has seen better days, but clean, comfortable and close to the beach and shopping.

Pay for What You Get!

Pros: The view was beautiful and the location was close to everything.
Cons: Maybe communicate information before check in.
Location: The beach was less than a city block from the hotel. Ocean Drive and Lincoln Ave Mall were nearby.
Our hotel stay was comfortable. We loved that there was a free shuttle from the airport and a reasonable rate back to the airport. The room was clean and the staff was nice. However, there were things that weren't disclosed until we checked in. There was a $50.00 refundable deposit that we didn't know about. The ice machine was not in service the whole time we were there and the Suites did not have a range. The only difference between the suites and the standard rooms was a sink. We planned on visiting their on site Grocery store to shop and cook meals while on vacation to save a few bucks. The grocery store actually was not affiliated with the hotel at all. We had to spend a bit more on food and ice than we anticipated.

Not bad

Posted Jun 6, 2014
Pros: Close to beach and boardwalk convient store and souvenir right by it and bikes right I. Front $10 for two hours not bad
Cons: Cleanliness and more English speaking hotel staff
This was my first time to Miamai and the Hotel wasn't bad but could use better cleaning. I clean my bathroom with bleach before using and I brought my own blanket and sheets and I was glad I did. All I. All it was a good hotel. There is complimentary shuttle from airport but it cost 25 to go back to air port

Nice hotel

Nice hotel, not too fancy, but it was a good price, and the staff were helpful. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but it all worked out fine.

good price, excellent location !

Location: walk along the broad walk and biked (the decobike stand is right across from the hotel)
Love that the flyer bus station is right in front of the hotel, which makes traveling to the hotel painless, if you have a big suitcase to lug along. For the price you pay for the location (nestled between south and north beach), it's a great deal ! I was a single traveler, the hotel didn't have single bed rooms, so i took the double bed rooms. Facilities in the room was great : Two double beds, mini fridge, free wifi, kitchenette with cooking utensils, safety deposit. It feels like a nice studio apartment w lots of space ! My room was clean, but I would have given cleanliness a 4 star if the bathroom was more thoroughly scrubbed (there were lime deposits), and the curtains to the window dusted or washed.

very old hotel

Posted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: that it was walking distance from the ocean
Location: there's nothing to do except walk to the beach
we were expecting something different since we had chosen an hotel on the beach with balcony.Very old hotel. The elevator is so small ( 2 people with suitcases ) very thight. Quite a walk to get to any restaurant.

very pleased with the place

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: The Staff, the Location and the mood of the place.
Location: great beach just a half a block away and just 1/2 mile or so from the main drag where everyone hung out.
I will start with the only down side of the Hotel, it has no parking lot. You have to park on the street, which actually was no problem at all. We got a space right in front of the hotel. Meters must be feed from 8am-6pm and at 6 pm you can put money in and it counts for the morning hours. Now aside from this small snag, the hotel staff was extremely helpful in every way, a great bunch of people who all seem to be fluent in English and Spanish. The rooms were clean and old, but the age of the room and hallways only added to the mood of the place, they were well cleaned and not at all rundown. I came away with a very good memory of this hotel and would certainly stay there again.
