The white-sand beaches of the Atlantic Ocean are the prime attraction at the Marco Polo Ramada Plaza Beach Resort. A large outdoor pool and children's wading pool both overlook the ocean. Towels and lounge chairs are provided, along with private access to the beach.

Complimentary breakfast is served daily for up to two guests per room (up to two children age 12 and younger eat at no extra charge).

The poolside fitness center has circuit machines, treadmills, stationary bikes, a sauna, and a steam room. A basketball hoop and Ping-Pong table are also on site. Personal trainers and massage therapy are available (surcharge).

A shopping arcade includes an art gallery, sundries shop, and pizzeria. A synagogue and kosher catering are also on site.

We serve over 300 guests for breakfast from 6:30 a.m. - 10:00a.m. daily. Our upgraded continental breakfast includes items such as hot fresh scrambled eggs, fresh fruits, hot oatmeal, muffins etc which is appeasing to most of our guests. Our resort has three dining options, the Pool Bar, the Lounge and the Ocean Terrace Restaurant; there is also a Pizzeria on the lower lobby. Overall rating is a 2 out of 5. Far walk to restaurants, convenience stores, etc if you don't have a car.

Our public transportation system is very good in Miami Beach for example a trip to South Beach only costs $ 2.00 per person. In addition, the City of Sunny Isles provides a complimentary shuttle, which makes stops to shops, restaurants and cafes along Collins Avenue. The complimentary shuttle also makes stops to the Aventura Mall, South Florida’s premier shopping and dining destination. The Aventura Mall is located about two miles away with free transportation to and from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily with the pickup location directly in front of the Ramada Plaza Marco Polo Beach Resort. We value your feedback and hope you appreciate our efforts in addressing your concerns.

“Great hotel”

Good hotel, good breakfast buffet, room confortable. Very gentle staff , especially the pool guys. The location is great and the acess to the beach through the pool area can't be better!!!!!

Besides our winning location, another crowd favorite is the complimentary neighborhood shuttle. A bus stop is located at the front of the resort. Guests can ride for free to the Aventura Mall, shops, cafes and restaurants along the route. “Worst Hotel I ever stayed in.”

The first room we were given, smelled so bad of mold, we could not stand the smell. We went to the desk and they gave us a new room. We stayed that night in the room, but decided we could not stay another night in that room. The lamp was broken and rusted. The bed had old fashion springs, that made the bed very unfortable. My husband woke up with bites all over his legs. It may have been bed bugs. We decieded to leave, even though we payed for the next night on Expida. The customer service person on Expedia was great. He called the hotel, while I held on the phone, and had the manager call me. The manager and a staff member came into our room and did not think that the bed had bed bugs. They told my husband that it was mosquito bites. I slept in the other bed and did not have any. They asked us to stay, and offered us a better room. It did not smell as bad, so we stayed. The sink in that bath room, was broken. My husband had to go under the sink and release the drain, so we could use it. The bath tub had hair in the drain and a piece of a shower cap, clogging the drain. The dial on the tub was broken. One of the lamps in the room was also broken. We had to use valet parking, because they did not have any parking area. It cost $18.00 a day to use it. It was a disaster hotel. Don't waste your money on this hotel!

Billy Stone Crabs seafood. Fabulous food, and great outdoor seating.

We appreciate your leaving feedback on your recent stay at our resort. Our management team is disappointed to learn that you had encountered some challenges during your stay. After hearing about your concerns, our housekeeping department requested that the room be put out of order, the exterminator was called in and they reported that they could find no evidence of bed bugs in the room. A list of your finding was given to the maintenance department to launch a thorough examination to find and correct the problems listed in the room to which you were relocated. The resort does not have self parking, our daily valet fee of $18 is listed on the web, and you may have overlooked this. Every guest's comfort is important to us and we apologize for the inconvenience; we value your feedback and hope you appreciate our efforts in handling your concerns.

“not family friendly at all”

The room was freezing when we got there. The updated room was very dirty. People are not friendly and the people at the pool keep staring at you. There are so many restrictions at the pool and beach it is ridiculous. Nobody was walking around the hotel. Not lively at all. Valet parking took one hour. If you have family stay away from this place.

“Ramada , Marco Polo”

Old hotel. Needs complete remodeling. Bad smell at the room, room needs maintenance all the time, got stolen inside the room, worse breakfast I ever had, room service is allwas closed. Restaurant does not have wine list. The pool bar closes early and have a poor menu. The wi fi access does not work inside the room.

Near Avetura Mall. I would recomend another hotel at the same area.

Your concern regarding the odor in the room and the need for maintenance was brought to the attention of our Director of Housekeeping. We wished that you had reported the incident of the missing item from your room to a member of management while you were on property so that we could have addressed the issue. Our Pool Bar closes at 6 p.m., however The Lounge which is located in the lobby as well as the Ocean Terrace Restaurant opens at 6 p.m. Our resort serves an upgraded continental breakfast daily, with items such as hot fresh scrambled eggs, fresh fruits, hot oatmeal, muffins etc which is appeasing to most of our guests. We are however, reviewing our offerings as well as the absence of the wine list with our food and beverage management. There is wireless internet throughout the resort; if our guest services team was aware they would have happily researched your connectivity issue.
