Marriott South Beach

Hotel bar has ocean views looking over south beach. Great spot.

Only problem was water pressure and temperature but on last day both improved. Think maybe the city was working on the main water line because they were out in the street.

This is my 4th time staying here and the hotel staff is the best. I was surprised to see the same faces year to year as I assumed there would be a high rate of turnover. I love SoBE as it's a little quieter but still close to the action.

I got to the hotel about 11am and check in is not till 4pm, But they took our bags and told us they will call us as soon as the room was ready we can still use the pool, spa and more. We took a walk to eat and enjoy what the hotels was all about. Our room was ready @ 2pm we did not have to wait till 4pm like other hotels make you do, we also got a nice view!! Thanks to everyone at the Marriott South Beach! I'll be back soon!

we asked thier advice on getting to the American Airlines Stadium and they were way off on how long it would take. Also asked advice on getting to University of Miami and arrived an hour to early. They could really brush up on their knowledge of the city.

Just completed a fabulous 1 night stay at this hotel, which is in a great location on South Beach. It is just beachfront just South of the park, which means you don't have to deal with the traffic and noise of Ocean Drive, but are steps from everything. Got there about 10am on the day of check in and the front desk staff gave me a key to use the pool, beach access, charging privileges etc. Then they got me into my room before noon, 4 hours plus ahead of stated check in time. The staff was friendly and extremely accomodating, without exception. Unlike many places on Ocean Drive, the valets keep the car in the garage below the hotel so there is never a delay and I was able to access my vehicle within a minute or two. Common areas inside are modern and clean, all you would want and expect. Two pools and a spa outside overlooking the beach, all of which were clean and comfortable. Upscale family crowd while I was there. Rooms are clean and to Marriott standards by my experience. A manager told me room renovations will soon start, though I have no complaints about the room. It was clean, comfortable and not excessively worn. I have stayed at many many places on South Beach and will definitely be coming back here.

Great view and access to both the beach and the heart of South Beach. The pool and outside dinning areas were a great break from the sun.

After several attempts to find a good hotel in South Beach the Marriott seems to fit our bill. The hotel is not trendy or particularly stylish but the room was clean, quiet, the staff attentive and the location is perfect On the downside, the Marriott charges for WiFI which is a little odd. Parking (which all the hotels in South Beach charge for) is a little pricey but very handy.

The staff was very nice and helpful! However the rooms need true updating. You can see and smell the mold in the bathroom! The fridge didn't work and was dirty and smelly! Again, needs renovated! The restaurant and staff were awesome! The housekeeper was even super sweet! Could be a five star hotel if they spent some time and money on the propety!

The location is the BEST - on the beach in the QUIET part of South Beach! Beds are very comfortable. Noise from adjoining rooms very low (unless I had nobody next to me . . . which is possible.) Two small quibbles - the "rainfall" style shower heads had very little water pressure and it took two days to get the room phone repaired.
