“Great suites on South Beach”
I booked the 2 bedroom suite. Great value. Great suite. Everything was well maintained. Only downside is that bathroom was a bit small.
“Victor T”
great condo for an awesome price in the heart of south beach. I will be back again.
“good but will charge $30 more”
very good position and rate, but will charge resort fee and parking fee more than $30 perday.
“Central south beach location, but needs a good cleaning”
Perfect walking distance to shops on collins and only a block from the beach. Staff is nice, however hotel needs a cleaning and possibly a few touch ups with paint. If you are looking for budget hotel in south beach, this is good location, and the rooms are suites so spacious. However don't expect clean carpets or anything fancy.
“Not even clean enough for my DOGS!!!!!”
very nasty!!!!!!! uneven floors!!!! air was not working!!!! They charge addl fees for reort fees on top of the hotel fee...They charge astronomical fees per day for parking....We did not stay..went immediately to check out and they still tried to charge my credit card a resort fee on top of the regular rate.THey still use an imprint machine for your credit card...how unsafe is this???? With your entire credit card number at their mercy...This is not a hotel you want to stay with a family...
“Metropole was Fantastic!”
The Metropole was fantastic! The condo was in a perfect location. 5 minute walk to the beach, in the center of alot of good shops and eateries. Boardwalk on Ocean Drive was a quick 3 minute walk. The condo was perfect. We had a 2 bedroom with one queen and one king in another and a sleep sofa which was very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The staff was very helpful, especially Pablo. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room. 3 large flat screen tv's also. The pool is very small, more like a wading pool but the terrace was very comfortable. Great stores like Steve Madden, True Religion Victorias Secret right across the street. Miami Ink is close by as well as Dash. . I would definitely go back again...South Beach is incredible!
“Just what we expected”
Prime location, modern boutique hotel with close access to the beach and restaurants. Also a walgreens one block away which was perfect for food, drinks, beach stuff etc. Beds were really comfortable but pull out sofa bed was nearly unsleepable. Yes there were some stains on the curtains, shower chalk needed redone, an there wasn't much of a view but this is south beach so we were fine with the room. 3 flat screens in our 2 bedroom and nice appliances. Perfect place for younger groups but i could see where older people or families might not be overly impressed. We will stay there again next time and I will recommend to anyone. Not perfect but we were very happy. Could have been a 5 (for what we paid for, meaning perfect value) if service was a bit more outgoing an friendly and had new curtains and better sofa bed mattress.
“Not impressed”
On arrival front desk guy was quite unfriendly and unhelpful and tried to put me into a noisy room and repeatedly suggested I come back in a few hours! When I finaly got into our room there were several problems including no dial tone on telephone , a blind that didn't work , bathroom with an extremely bad smell, a fold out bed that was not flat as a leg had collapsed and a kitchen door with a very loose hinge. I had to report all of these problems twice before they were attended to the following day
“Quirky.... but fun!”
This hotel is very well located just one block back from South Beach and all the restaurants, bars and other attractions. I don't think there was one level floor in the whole place. Our room was like walking on a sailing ship the floor was on such a lean. That said the courtyard is just beautiful and a great place to lounge with a cold beer or two. Collins street offers a plethora of great shops and eateries and South Beach is absolutely where it's at. The only real downside to our stay was that the WiFi was not working properly due to some construction in the area.(Apparently....) Also the room was not really clean and the bathroom had quite an odious odour.... Oh and DO NOT use the hotel supplied beach towels. They are cheap and leave lint all over you! However, the location more than made up for the negatives and we really enjoyed our stay. I would stay here again.
“Perfect hideaway !”
Great stay in southbeach, staff was great!two cons rooms needed brighter lighting and hallway needs new carpet our flloor was grungy and stained !don't get me wrong we will be back next year it is a great hotel and perfect location!!!!!
