Pros: The staff was top rate and treated us like royalty. Small boutique hotel and its finest! Its and older but very nicely updated hotel.
Cons: The only downfall (which was small) is the drain in the shower didn't drain well.
Location: It was a short stay but the location was amazing and I would go back in a heartbeat. Close to the beach and many restaurants.
I'm picky so me giving this hotel a 5 says a lot. You should give it a shot, you won't be sorry!

Excellent location for everything in South beach

Small rooms but adequate for short stay . Has kitchen but limited pots etc . Only negatives are poor lighting esp in kitchen and noisy courtyard at night

Dirty hotel at the great location

If you are on the budget and care only about the location , this will work. But if you care about service or cleanliness even a bit, stay away!!!!

Great amount of unexpected space in the one bedroom suite, good layout, comforts of being in a modern one bedroom apartment.

When I checked in I was suppose to have a room with a king size bed. The front desk gave me a room with two double beds and the room door was wide open. Then she gave me a room with the king size, went out to have fun because the room was hot. Came back and the room was still hot all night long called front dest no answer went to sleep in hot room, the pillow cases had make up stains on them was not very happy this stay. Valet no one there to park the car ended up parking in garage.

Sometimes the valet attendants are backed up and have to go and get cars. They always put a sign up so that guests are aware that they will be back in some time. We apologize that your stay was less then enjoyable.

Chambre très bien équipée et hôtel très bien placé mais chambre sur collins avenue extrêmement bruyante et lit inconfortable...dommage..

Pros: L'arredamento della camera , il servizio navetta
Cons: La lobby e' un po' sacrificata
Location: Ottima posizione per molti bei negozi ,vicinissimo ad Ocean Drive e alla spiaggia.
Hotel buono con un cortile interno molto suggestivo. Abbiamo soggiornato in una suites/appartamento molto bello ,ben arredato e spazioso , ben pulito e tranquillo Il personale e' stato gentilissimo e disponibile e ci ha fornito tutte le indicazioni e i mezzi per andare a Key West .Ottimo il servizio navetta gratuito da e per l'aereoporto .

Worst Birthday Ever!!!!!

My daughter took her time and planned our get 19th birthday with her friends. The location was very important to her! when she got there she was told that they overbooked, being a travel agent I am very familiar with the overbooking policy for hotels. Less than 5 minutes after she arrived they put her in a cab and send her to another hotel that was approximately 20 blocks away from this hotel. I then proceeded to call the manager and told him about the situation he then informed me that the floors are being done and he did not know in advance that this was taking place. What Manager isn't aware of upgrades being done to the hotel they manage in advance? Four minutes into the conversation he told me to email him two days into their vacation and he would bring then back to the Metropole, need less to say they are back home and he never answered my email. I would Never recommend any client to go this hotel!!!! They may put you on a cab and send you to another state.

Good Evening gammy!! I am terribly sorry to read that your daughters stay wasn't a 5 star one! We did indeed have to relocate your daughter to Riviera Suites. We had to put some rooms out of order and caused us to not have enough rooms. She was placed in the same room type that she booked at Metropole. When we explained this to your daughter she was not upset, as we informed her that Riviera has more amenities that she will be able to enjoy. Unfortunately situations arise that we have no control over. For the guests safety and ours as well, we need to place rooms our of order so the guest doesn't get hurt. Perhaps the next time you daughter is in Miami we can have her stay at Metropole. I would love to personally handle her reservation, and make sure it's an all-out success!!
